ARC Raiders players who are overwhelmed by the variety of available in-game items have a new, free resource they can use to help them understand what everything does. ARC Forge is a newly created online open-source database that covers more than 300 different ARC Raiders items, providing descriptions and details that will let players know what to expect when they pick them up.

First announced at The Game Awards 2021, the extraction shooter from Embark Studios has picked up a lot of momentum since its official launch on October 30. It’s currently the fourth most-played game on Steam according to Steam Charts, behind Counter Strike 2, DOTA 2, and PUBG: Battlegrounds, with an all-time peak player count pf nearly 460,000, and plenty of fans were surprised when ARC Raiders beat Battlefield 6 for active player numbers on the platform.

With the game’s sudden success less than a month from launch, many players may have some confusion over the specifics of the loot, equipment, and weapons in ARC Raiders. Handily, one Reddit user has revealed ARC Forge, which is designed to be a comprehensive database for categorizing and describing everything that players can pick up in the extraction shooter. ARC Raiders fans can use this website free of charge to check out details on just about anything they can pick up in the game.

Categorization on the website is laid out in an easy-to-follow format, with each object broken down under main headers for Weapon, Modification, Quick Use, Equipment, or Loot. There are also two to ten filters under each of those headers, allowing players to break down their viewing of specific types of items and gear. The individual entries show off stats that include damage output, item weight, stack sizes, and sell price ranges, which should provide a quick reference tool for players making interesting finds in ARC Raiders’ loot spots.

In addition to providing item specifics, the database also provides some information on crafting in ARC Raiders, providing a Crafting Graph tab that allows players to see the breakdown of each component needed for crafting a wide variety of in-game items. Presently, the crafting section of the database is one that some fans still find confusing, with navigation that can require clicking through several items before finding the ones they’re looking for.

Responding to reactions to ARC Forge’s crafting tab, the creator has acknowledged that it still needs some clarity over whether items are treated as components or available from recycling in each crafting job, so this section is likely to improve in the future. The online database is still a work in progress, and additional changes are planned, including providing more information on how to obtain certain items, including ones that are available from traders.
