Firestorm
Major
On activation, deploy a fire tornado that pulls in and immolates enemies.
Molten Core
Minor
Enemies are dealt more damage the closer they get to you.
Oxidizer
Minor
Increase Wild Fire’s duration.
Firestorm will help to control the flow of overwhelming zombies, as you can activate Wild Fire when you’re in trouble and see zombies immediately stunned and set on fire.
Molten Core is exceptional in providing you with a damage buff, and that damage will increase if enemies are getting too close for comfort, allowing you more power if you’re trapped.
Oxidizer helps Molten Core, and should be used when you get the Extra Slot for getting 100% on Wild Fire’s Research Augments. This will essentially mean you can use Wild Fire for longer, which means more damage.
Is Wild Fire a Good Field Upgrade in Black Ops 7 Zombies?
Wild Fire is a decent Field Upgrade that sees you imbue yourself with fire, giving you a passive Napalm Burst buff that increases your movement speed and damage against enemies who get too close. It’s good, but it won’t really come into its own against other Field Upgrades.
Wild Fire really comes into play during Totenreich, as activating it will see you become immune to Frost Zombies and freezing. However, the Icebane Helm also does this.
Personally, I like to use Frenzied Guard, as I think it does the best job of protecting you from death, especially with Frenzy Fire as a Major Augment that uses ammo from stock, meaning you have infinite ammo to kill zombies that have cornered you, all while your armor tanks the damage.
