It’s almost time for another Disney Dreamlight Valley update. While you might have been busy exploring everything that came with Pocahontas, Gameloft is already getting ready to add more content to DDV on June 3, 2026.

A Hero’s Journey Release Time in Disney Dreamlight Valley (DDV)

Phil and Hercules Update Release Time in DDV

A Hero’s Journey update is scheduled to arrive on June 3, 2026. Gameloft has not officially confirmed a release time, but Dreamlight Valley updates almost always go live around 9 AM ET. Below, you can find the expected launch times across various time zones:

This update comes with a bunch of new content, but the thing I’m looking forward to the most is easily the new characters. This time, we are getting Hercules and his iconic trainer Phil, both joining the valley from Disney’s Hercules (1997).

Like most characters, these newly added Disney icons will have their own realm inside the Dream Castle. You will need to visit it, meet the duo, and work through their quests before they can move into your valley. After unlocking them, you can do their friendship quests.

Of course, it wouldn’t be a Dreamlight Valley update without a brand-new Star Path. As always, Dreamers will get a list of duties to complete, and each one rewards tokens that can be exchanged for exclusive items.

A Hero’s Journey update will also bring a couple of limited-time events later this month. First up is Dreamlight Parks Fest, which runs from June 10 through June 30. After that, players can participate in the Picture Pursuit event, which will be available from July 15 to July 28.
