Tramplers may look like unstoppable walking tanks in Sand: Raiders of Sophie, but they have limited HP and will get damaged in PvE and PvP encounters. If your Trampler blows up while you’re respawning, you’ll be sent back to the lobby. To avoid this situation, this guide will explain how to perform repairs ranging from small to large on your Trampler in Sand: Raiders of Sophie.

Tramplers are the big weaponized mechs that players can drive around the map, here’s a complete guide on how to drive and recharge them.
How to Repair Tramplers in Sand: Raiders of Sophie
While engaging your Trampler in fights, it can get damaged in two different ways. The first type of damage is minor, which means you’ll have a ruptured pipe or two inside the compartments or near the reactor, depending on where you got shot. The second type of damage is big, whole walls, railings, or compartments get destroyed. Let’s check out how to repair both types of damage to your Trampler in Sand: Raiders of Sophie.
How to Repair Minor Damages on Tramplers
After you’ve successfully won or escaped a combat encounter, make sure to first park your Trampler in a secluded area before embarking on the steering wheel. Now open up your equipment wheel, and select the Multi-Tool gadget.
If your Trampler gets hit by one or multiple shots, you’ll hear hissing coming from both inside the compartments and on the decks of your Trampler. Locate the damaged pipes throughout your Trampler that are hissing, and interact with them via the Multi-Tool to repair them. You’ll also find other forms of minor damage, such as metal patches that the Multi-Tool can repair.
How to Repair Major Damages on Tramplers
After a rough PvP fight, there’s a chance enemy shells have destroyed one of your compartments on the Trampler. These large gaping holes in your Trampler cannot be repaired with a regular Multi-Tool. Instead, you’ll need to rely on a Repair Kit that can usually be found by looting landmarks and defeating Automatrons that spawn after you’re detected by a Watchtower.
The Repair Kit does not go into your inventory, but you can pick it up similarly to how you pick up empty boxes. It had three charges in total, which you can use to repair major damage to your Trampler, from broken railings on your deck to blown-up compartments. However, you’ll need to first turn off the reactor on your Trampler (under the chimney) to commence repairs with the Repair Kit in Sand: Raiders of Sophie.
