Updated October 2, 2026, by Mark Sammut: I’ve updated the PS Plus section to cover the September lineup, highlighting games with relatively simple Platinum trophies.
Collecting PS5 Platinum trophies can be addictive, so much so that we even created a phrase to describe the act of playing a game specifically to get that satisfying notification: Trophy hunting. Many developers have clearly noticed this subsection of Sony’s community, with some even releasing games designed to deliver an easy Platinum trophy into the player’s hands.
Anyone who simply wants to amass as many trophies as possible can easily knock out a couple every day by focusing on these types of titles. Fortunately, you don’t have to buy trophy games to collect Platinums; you can stick to “normal” titles that don’t force you to jump through absurd hoops. While the commitment varies from title to title, these games usually require only a single playthrough or make it very easy to clean up any missed trophies.
We are including games with native PS5 versions, so no PS4 games that run on PS5. That said, we have an article that covers that ground.
We will be ignoring games designed to hand out a Platinum in 5 minutes. The PS Store has hundreds of these releases, and they are all essentially the same.
Along with personal experience, PSNProfiles was also used as a reference.
New PS Plus Games With Easy Platinum Trophies
Ninja Gaiden, Sniper Elite, Dungeons of Hinterberg
October 2026’s PS Plus Essential lineup has absolutely nothing for you, at least when it comes to Platinum trophies. F1 25, Hunt: Showdown 1896, and Earth Defense Force: World Brothers 2 all require massive grinds that could easily surpass 50+ hours, and they require completing multiplayer elements. Don’t get me wrong, all three are solid games, but they don’t cater to hunters.
Fortunately, PS Plus Extra’s September lineup includes a few games that should be relatively easy to complete. If you are looking for your next trophy, Sony’s subscription service should be on your radar, since it offers a couple of monthly options.

The fourth wave of PlayStation Plus games for September 2026 is formally here, adding three more titles to Sony’s subscription service.
Ninja Gaiden: Ragebound (10–12 Hours)
Yes, that’s right, the hardest game in PS Plus Extra’s September lineup is also the easiest Platinum hunt. Just to be crystal clear, Ninja Gaiden: Ragebound is punishing as hell when played legitimately, and you need to finish the campaign in hard mode to unlock the Platinum. As to be expected from the franchise, the gameplay comes with a steep learning curve, way more so than Ninja Gaiden 4.
So, why did I include Ragebound if it is so difficult? Well, the answer is Assist Mode. You can reduce enemy damage to 0% and effectively unlock God Mode, allowing you to breeze through everything. Look, this strategy isn’t pretty, but it is an option. If you want to earn the Platinum by really playing the game, then prepare yourself for hell.
Dungeons of Hinterberg (15–18 Hours)
OK, now let’s get to a legitimately easy Platinum that doesn’t require any cheating. Dungeons of Hinterberg is an action-adventure romp that also throws in social sim elements, and the story follows the protagonist to a town where tourists hunt monsters for fun. The gameplay is fun but forgiving, and you should earn most of the trophies by playing through the campaign. Keep an eye out for 2 missable relationship/dialogue trophies, so check a spoiler-free roadmap before you hit the late-game days to avoid a partial second run.
Ball x Pit (25–30 Hours)
With no missable trophies or difficulty-setting trophies, Ball x Pit’s platinum stays relatively simple and relaxing. However, it’s a roguelite, so progression grinding is an inescapable part of the hunt. As long as you target specific stage milestones and upgrade paths early, it’s a smooth, low-stress checklist.
Sniper Elite: Resistance (25–30 Hours)
To be honest, I don’t think Sniper Elite: Resistance’s Platinum is that easy, and I’m only including it as another option. Slitterhead’s Platinum is harder, while Date Everything, WWE 2K26, and RuneScape Dragonwilds demand an absurd amount of hours. That said, most trophies are relatively straightforward, though you will need to complete the game on Authentic. Three trophies require interaction with the online modes, and you will also need to complete each mission’s optional objectives. However, you can just replay the missions, so it isn’t too bad.
My Name Is Mayo: Remayo
30 Minutes To Obtain The Platinum
Probably one of the most infamous short PlayStation games designed primarily to be an easy platinum, My Name Is Mayo originally debuted on the PS4, and that version is available to play on the PS5 as well. That said, if you are looking to get the optimal Mayo experience, you will want to pick up the Remayo remaster, which is available on both consoles. Although it is basically the same game, it comes with a few additions that make it a touch longer. However, Remayo is still a very straightforward and short game with a platinum that can be obtained in less than an hour.
What Remains of Edith Finch
2–3 Hours To Obtain The Platinum

Putting aside shovelware, Platinum trophies are satisfying because they signal that a player has experienced everything a game has to offer. Whether that journey requires 5 or 50 hours is somewhat irrelevant, as the Platinum means the same thing for both. What Remains of Edith Finch is an example of a title that just wants you to enjoy it in full, which is easy to do considering the game is great. Essentially a walking simulator, you explore a house in search of stories relating to different characters, allowing you to form a family tree.
As long as you take your time and look through everything, you should unlock nearly every standard trophy during a single playthrough. After that, just replay two stories to get the Platinum. Simple and enjoyable.
Pinkman+
2–3 Hours To Obtain The Platinum

Platforms: PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X and S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, PC, macOS, Linux
Release Date: January 16, 2017
Developer: Ratalaika Games S.L.
Earning the platinum trophy essentially amounts to beating the game. This is not a case of a game designed simply to give players an easy PS5 platinum trophy. Pinkman+ is an engaging platformer with a simple but distinct art style. It will feel both satisfying and brief to earn this platinum.
Anyone who goes through the game will have no issue snagging this platinum once they beat the game. Any platformer enthusiast is going to have a good time going through Pinkman+.
The Gardens Between
2–3 Hours To Obtain The Platinum

A pretty great adventure puzzle game, The Gardens Between does not overstay its welcome in any way, and The Voxel Agents made collecting the Platinum as painless as possible. While quite a few trophies aren’t unlocked automatically through story progression, the game has a chapter select option that simplifies cleaning up any missed achievements.
For your first playthrough, I recommend playing through the campaign normally without worrying too much about trophies. You will unlock a good percentage of the trophies by just doing that, and The Gardens Between is well worth experiencing as intended. After that, slowly check off any trophies you missed by revisiting chapters.
Venba
2–3 Hours To Obtain The Platinum

More games need to provide some much-needed South Asian representation, and Venba is a great example of why. The game uses cooking minigames to highlight many aspects of South Indian cuisine while communicating a fun narrative along the way.
Venba is a beautiful, short experience that shows indie gaming at its best. Players who check out this game on the PlayStation 5 will easily power through this fun, cozy experience and earn a Platinum trophy in no time at all.
The Artful Escape
3–5 Hours To Obtain The Platinum

The Artful Escape takes you on a mind-trip journey that features rock-solid platforming, beautiful visuals, and great music. The story follows the nephew of a beloved musician who tries to live up to his legacy, and he ends up on quite an adventure of self-discovery.
Beyond being an all-around fun game, The Artful Escape is an easy platinum that should only require one playthrough of the campaign. Most trophies trigger from story beats you simply cannot miss. The exceptions are also very obvious and shouldn’t be an issue; that said, if you miss one, just replay that chapter to get it.
Unpacking
3–5 Hours To Obtain The Platinum

Fittingly for such a low-stakes and relaxing game, Unpacking’s Platinum does not require any significant effort to unlock, and you could be able to complete it in one playthrough. If you are thorough and interact with every item in each stage, you will likely acquire all the trophies you need. If you miss something, just go back to the chapter to unlock the Trophy.
Unpacking is a delightful game that follows a character through multiple moves, with each stage set on a different moving-in day. Each level requires you to unpack and place her belongings, which reveals information about her personality and current situation. The concept is interesting and perfect for a quick playthrough.
Bramble: The Mountain King
4–6 Hours To Obtain The Platinum

Added to PS Plus Extra and Premium in May 2026, Bramble: The Mountain King is a fantastic story-driven adventure game that feels like a dark fairy tale. Focusing on stealth, the campaign doesn’t last too long, and you can technically get all the trophies in a single playthrough. However, while 99% of them can be collected relatively easily if you are thorough, the Survive trophy requires finishing the story without dying.
That’s actually quite difficult since death comes quickly in Bramble; however, you can abuse PS Plus’ cloud save feature to trivialize this trophy to an extent. Save as often as possible and reload whenever you die. Honestly, this feels like the only way to really complete Bramble without too much frustration.
Cocoon
4–6 Hours To Obtain The Platinum

Cocoon
Released
September 29, 2023

After Playdead’s founders broke off to start new companies of their own, players assumed that the indie giant wouldn’t grace the market any longer. However, Cocoon made it clear that the people behind classic games like Limbo and Inside would still light up the indie scene from time to time.
