In Aion 2, Arcana Cards are one of the core progression systems of the game and a requirement to reach level 20+ skills and increase your Gear Score to 2100+. However, the game does not explain how this system works. Even basics like where to get Arcana Cards are buried in menus and aren’t immediately obvious to new players, let alone figuring out what the cards do and which ones you should be chasing for your character. Here’s how this works.

Enhance Stones are the primary material required to upgrade equipment in Aion 2. Here are the best methods to farm them in the game.
What are Arcana Cards in Aion 2
Arcana is a modular progression system in Aion 2 where players can equip Arcana Cards to their character, getting the skills and stats inscribed on those cards for their character. Arcana Cards can be swapped at any time with other cards at no cost to the player, leading to multiple possible loadouts you can use with them for different types of content.
Using Arcana Cards in combination with the Daevanion Board and Soul Bind is the only way for you to level up skills to level 20 and above. They provide +1-4 Skill modifiers to class skills, pushing them above their normal threshold.
In addition, Arcana Cards also provide passive God stats. These are stats like Justice [Nezekan], Destruction [Zikel], Death [Triniel], and Time [Siel] that determine passive character bonuses like cooldown reduction, combat speed, attack, and critical hit. Depending on what class you’re playing and what build you’re going for, the exact stats you chase will be different.
How to Get Arcana Cards in Aion 2
In Aion 2, the only way to get Arcana Cards is through Transcendence, which are 2-5 player dungeons that unlock after you reach level 45 and require at least a 1600 Gear Score to enter. At the end of a Transcendence dungeon, you can claim an Odyle Energy Cube using Unobtained Cube Coupons. Arcana Cards drop from these cubes.
However, you only get 10 Unobtained Cube Coupons per week, and these coupons are shared with Conquest Expeditions, meaning if you’ve run 10 Conquests in a week, you won’t be able to enter a Transcendence dungeon until the weekly reset on Wednesday.
Each Transcendence dungeon has 4 stages of progressively higher difficulty and gear score entry requirements. The Arcana Cards you get from the higher-tier dungeons are much better than what can drop from the lower-tier ones.
The gameplay loop is simple. You farm lower-tier Transcendences for Arcana Cards, use those Cards to increase your Gear Score to meet the entry requirement for higher-tier Transcendences, and so on. Once you reach Stage 4 Transcendences, you’ll be looking at the BiS Arcana Cards for your character. This is the end goal.
If you go to the Transcendence menu, select a dungeon, and click on the percentage icon next to Cube Reward, you can check the drop rate and probability of every single Arcana Card in that dungeon and also check which bosses they drop from.
