WoW: Mists of Pandaria Classic Release Dates
July 1 – World of Warcraft Classic: Mists of Pandaria Pre-Patch
July 21 – WoW Classic: Mists of Pandaria Launch
July 30 – Final day to earn Shaohao’s Sage Serpent for modern WoW
Before the expansion’s release, players can enjoy the Mists of Pandaria Pre-Patch. Starting July 1, fans can make Pandaren characters, choose the new Monk class, and experiment with heavily-reworked talent trees for every specialization. The Attack on Theramore Isle world event and Theramore’s Fall scenario also become available, alongside new World of Warcraft systems like Pet Battles, AoE Looting, and more.
Once the Pre-Patch begins, players can also score a reward in modern World of Warcraft from Classic as well. By making a Pandaren character and completing their unique starting experience on the Wandering Isle in Classic, fans can earn the brand-new Shaohao’s Sage Serpent mount for their modern WoW accounts. This limited-time offer is similar to the Frostbrood Proto-Wyrm from WoW: Wrath of the Lich King Classic, and will only be available to earn until July 30.
Season of Discovery players, on the other hand, can earn a reward for progression servers. Heroes who defeat Balnazzar, the challenging first boss of WoW Classic Season of Discovery’s new Scarlet Enclave raid, will earn a free Level 85 Character Boost for their World of Warcraft Classic progression account – a service that normally costs $60. Fans who accomplish this feat before June 30 will have the boost added to their account on July 1, just in time for Mists of Pandaria Classic, though those who have already defeated the demon will retroactively qualify as well. With several offers, events, and activities to enjoy in the near future, now is the perfect time to dive into World of Warcraft Classic.
