Marvel Rivals Announces the Return of Vaulted Skins

Marvel Rivals has revealed that it will be bringing back a wide variety of rare cosmetics to the popular hero shooter on June 13, but they won’t be sticking around for long. NetEase Games recently launched a new game mode in Marvel Rivals called Ultron’s Battle Matrix Protocol, which gives players the opportunity to engage in tactical grid-based combat.

It was recently revealed that The Thing and Invisible Woman will be receiving Future Foundation skins in Marvel Rivals, which has excited many players. While it has been confirmed that the skins will make their debut in the game’s shop on June 12 at 7 PM PDT, NetEase Games has not mentioned how much the cosmetics will cost. Mister Fantastic also received a Future Foundation costume recently, though players will need to engage with the title’s Combat Chest to claim it. Gamers can purchase the Combat Chest to receive all of the hero’s Future Foundation cosmetics, but the skin itself can be claimed for free.

In a recent post on Twitter, NetEase Games revealed that it will be bringing back some of Marvel Rivals’ rarest skins on June 13. The returning skins include Captain America’s Galactic Talon bundle and Hawkeye’s Galactic Fangs bundle, which haven’t been available since Season 0. Many fans have been asking NetEase Games to bring the cosmetics back to the popular hero shooter, as a lot of people didn’t begin playing until Season 1.

Marvel Rivals’ patch notes for its June 12 update also revealed that numerous holiday skins will be returning, such as Venom’s Snow Symbiote skin and Magik’s Frozen Demon bundle. Rocket Raccoon and Groot will also see their holiday skins make a return for a limited time. Gamers looking to purchase these rare cosmetics will need to act fast, as they will only be available in the hero shooter’s shop through June 20.

NetEase Games has shown a willingness to bring back old cosmetics at the request of fans, as it recently re-released the entire Season 0 battle pass in Marvel Rivals for a limited time. While the highly requested battle pass did return, players were unable to claim free rewards from it, which differs from when it made its original debut. Instead, anyone trying to claim any of the cosmetics from the pass had to purchase it with Lattice, the game’s premium currency. With so much content to enjoy and even more on the way, many fans are feeling optimistic about the future of Marvel Rivals.
