San Diego Studio has released MLB The Show 25 Game Update 15, which is version 1.15 on PS5 and Nintendo Switch and version 1.0.71 on Xbox Series X/S. This MLB The Show 25 update includes the addition of new player models, enhancing the variety and accuracy of the roster. It also addresses multiple bugs, with fixes targeting issues in Road to the Show mode as well as core gameplay mechanics.
Since MLB The Show 25 came out in March 2025, the game has received regular updates aimed at improving gameplay and making the overall experience smoother. The May MLB The Show 25 patch, for example, added some important gameplay adjustments along with new gear specifically designed for the G.O.A.T. difficulty level. Over 40 player models were visually refreshed in that update, including well-known athletes like Shohei Ohtani and Jacob deGrom.

MLB The Show 25 receives new gameplay details covering the various new features and changes coming to the premier baseball sim.
Now, the June patch is out for the baseball video game MLB The Show 25. It’s not the biggest update the game has received, but it still brings some helpful fixes and quality-of-life changes. On the gameplay side, a bug that caused a blank screen when switching pitchers in head-to-head matches has been fixed. In Road to the Show, the update addresses a freeze that could happen after getting a college offer during the MLB Combine. Stadium Creator also got a fix, making sure foul lines now work the way they’re supposed to. The online Home Run Derby saw improvements too, with more accurate home run counts and corrected player stat displays.
Aside from the bug fixes, the update also makes the game look and feel more realistic. Over 40 player models have been updated, giving players like Gleyber Torres, Dylan Cease, Jim Rice, and Josh Palacios more accurate appearances. Equipment visuals were updated too, with new cleats from Adidas and Under Armour, custom Franklin batting gloves, and the Victus BWITT7 bat is now available in-game. For MLB The Show 25’s Diamond Dynasty mode, the update adds a new filter for Diamond Quest rewards. This should make it easier for players to go through their rewards and keep track of what they’ve unlocked.
While regular patches like this show that the developers are still actively working on the game, there’s also growing interest in what’s next. A recent job listing from PlayStation hints that MLB The Show could be heading to mobile, with San Diego Studio apparently looking for a senior project manager to lead development.
