Invincible Season 4 is shaping up to be show’s most violent season yet. As of Invincible Season 4, Episode 7, the Viltrumite War has exploded as Planet Viltrum quite literally explodes thanks to the combined efforts of Space Racer, Mark, Nolan, and Thaedus. There are barely 40 Viltrumites left alive according to Nolan, and realistically even less now that the battle outside Viltrum has ended in bloody fashion.
The Viltrumites are the strongest warriors in the Invincible universe, each member of the race overwhelmingly powerful in their own right. Mark grows stronger with every fight, and he can push himself past his limits when push comes to shove. Compared to the most powerful Vitrumites, though, Invincible’s still got a long way to go before he can even think of challenging the strongest Viltrumite Thragg again in future seasons.

Oliver is Still Too Young to Live Up To His Full Potential
Oliver is young and inexperienced. On Earth, he’s powerful enough to do some serious damage and fight some of the planet’s strongest criminals (albeit often needing Mark’s help). In outer space, however? Oliver’s just lucky to be alive at this point. Oliver has a lot of potential, but he’s hopelessly outclassed by the Viltrumites – so much so, Thragg doesn’t even consider him a real Viltrumite.
Oliver does nothing of note to Conquest both times he fights him, and during the Viltrumite War, he’s quickly knocked out of commission when Thragg rips his arm off and breaks his jaw clean off. Oliver will only grow stronger in future seasons, but his lack of proper training and brash attitude will always keep him below his fellow Viltrumites, despite his immense potential as Nolan’s son.

Lucan Was Disemboweled By Nolan On Thraxa
Lucan is a powerful warrior and one of Thragg’s most loyal minions, but of the named Viltrumites, he’s really only stronger than Thula. Lucan was more powerful than Mark when he was introduced in Season 2, whereas Mark was already strong enough to defeat Thula.
To his credit, Lucan was able to fight relatively evenly with Nolan before getting disemboweled on Thraxa. Lucan has since healed and continues to put up a solid fight whenever he appears. He was one of the few Viltrumites to survive the Viltrumite War, and was able to go fight a Rognarr without getting killed (though he does suffer a deep wound on his arm).

Kregg is One of Thragg’s Strongest Loyalists
Thaedus may brush Kregg off as a weakling, but he’s anything but. General Kregg is one of the most powerful Viltrumites currently living, and functionally Thragg’s right-hand man. In a culture that prides strength above all else, Kregg’s status as a warrior speaks for itself and he’s easily one of the strongest loyalists.
Kregg also served Argall before the Purge, as seen in Invincible Season 4, Episode 7. Based on the fact that Mark recently killed Conquest, it’s likely that Invincible has already surpassed Kregg. That said, Kregg was able to survive the battle outside Viltrum alongside Thragg’s greatest soldiers.

Mark May Be Invincible, But He’s Outclassed By Stronger Viltrumites
Mark’s greatest strength is far and away his willpower. No matter what, he always gets up (most of the time, at least). Thanks to an adrenaline boost, Mark was able to finally kill Conquest – a warrior far out of his league in terms of raw power. Mark grows stronger with every battle, and his training has elevated him into one of the strongest Viltrumites in existence. Unfortunately, Mark is still young and has a long way to go before he can compare to his father, and especially Thragg.
Invincible isn’t invincible, and he wasn’t able to so much as put a dent into Thragg when he fought him in the Viltrumite War. Every defeat is a lesson for Mark, though. It only took a few weeks for Mark to go from needing Eve to save him in the battle with Conquest, to killing Conquest himself. With enough time, he’ll be a genuine match for Thragg. More than any other character, Mark has the potential to become the strongest Viltrumite in the universe.
6
Anissa is an Absolute Monster
Lightning fast and just as powerful to boot, fans of the Invincible comics know full well that Anissa is one of the most dangerous Viltrumites in the entire series. The only reason Mark is still alive is because Anissa let him live in Season 2. If she wanted to, she could have killed him right then and there.
During the Viltrumite War, Anissa is able to go toe-to-toe with Nolan. While it’s unlikely she’d be able to beat him in the long run, she put up a great fight and wasn’t that much weaker than him. As far as surviving characters go, Anissa is currently the third strongest Viltrumite still living. Mark is in real danger the next time he comes face to face with Anissa.
5
Argall Ruled Viltrum With an Iron Fist
Argall was the Emperor of the Viltrum Empire prior to the start of the series. Argall is never seen in a fight, neither in the comics or the TV series, but given he’s the leader of a race who values strength more than anything else in the universe, it goes without saying that he’s likely extremely powerful. Doubly so, as he’s content with wiping out weaker races to assert Viltrum’s dominance.
The biggest knock against Argall is that he was killed by “The Betrayer,” Thaedus. Invincible Season 4, Episode 7 shows that Thaedus ambushed Argall in a sneak attack, but the battle is never actually shown. It’s possible Argall was able to retaliate, but given Thaedus had no visible scars or damage in his old age, he realistically was able to kill Argall without much trouble.

The most important characters from the Invincible comics have their fates revealed in this article, but beware of spoilers for the Amazon Prime show!
4
Thaedus Was Strong Enough to Kill Argall
Although he felt the need to sneak attack Argall in order to kill him, the fact Thaedus was able to defeat the Emperor of Vitrum at all is a massive feat and achievement. Even in his old age, Thaedus was outstandingly powerful and able to hold his own against several of Thragg’s loyalists without breaking a sweat.
Thaedus also does the heavy lifting alongside Nolan in destroying Planet Viltrum. Thaedus was one of the strongest members in the Coalition of Planets at the time of his death, and perhaps the strongest aside from Omni-Man and Battle Beast. Unfortunately, as powerful as Thaedus is, he was nothing to Thragg, who was able to rip him apart like paper.
3
Omni-Man is One of the Strongest Characters in the Invincible Universe
Nolan is a living legend to his fellow Viltrumites. As Omni-Man, Nolan could have subdued Earth whenever he wanted, but chose to live a peaceful life with Debbie and Mark for as long as he possibly could. Nolan is ferociously powerful – one of the most powerful characters in both the comics and the show – surviving battle with multiple Rognarrs and defeating other Viltrumites with his immense skills.
Omni-Man’s no Superman, though, and he has his limits. Anissa put up a solid fight against him in the Viltrumite War, and Thragg was able to beat Nolan into submission without much effort. What Nolan did to Mark on Earth, Thragg to Nolan tenfold outside the remains of the Viltrum Empire. The fact Nolan survived having his entrails ripped out is a miracle in and of itself.
2
Conquest Could Kill Anyone If He Took His Fights Seriously
Conquest is the second-strongest Viltrumite in Invincible, and he loves a challenge more than anything. If Conquest took his duties more seriously and wasn’t utterly unhinged, he’d be able to kill just about anyone in his path in seconds. Unfortunately, Conquest likes to play with his food, as seen both times he battles Mark.
Conquest could have easily killed Mark in their first battle, but he takes his time savoring a fight with someone strong enough to make him sweat. Conquest isn’t a strategic enough fighter, however, and battles like a brute. If he hadn’t tried pulling out Mark’s intestines and instead sliced him apart, he may have won their second fight. Conquest certainly had the raw power to do so.
1
Thragg is the Strongest Viltrum Who’s Ever Lived
Thragg is nothing short of a monster. His power’s been quietly hyped up all season, but he finally got to show off what he’s made of in the Viltrumite War. Not a single member of the Coalition was strong enough to do meaningful damage on Thragg. Thragg moves and fights like a Dragon Ball Z character. If he’s not instinctively dodging every attack thrown his away, he’s tanking hits that mean nothing to him.
Thragg breaks Oliver’s jaw off, slices Nolan apart, and beats Mark into submission in a matter of minutes. Thragg is so powerful, just winding up a punch channels all the surrounding air around him, dragging Nolan into range. Thragg’s basic hits are even strong enough to launch his opponents in and out of orbit. Thragg is the strongest Viltrumite in history, and while Mark has the potential to one day surpass him, it’s going to take a long time before he’s capable of pulling off the same feats as effortlessly as Thragg.
