Xbox Gamers Have Until November 5 to Jump on Incredible Best-Rated Sale

Xbox has officially rolled out a huge sale on a variety of indie games, giving fans the chance to pick up some beloved titles for cheap. The rise of indie games throughout the last decade has brought the release of some of the most critically-acclaimed games in the modern gaming industry, ushering in surprising landmark releases. Games like Stardew Valley and Hades have revolutionized their genres, while others like It Takes Two have even captured coveted awards. Xbox is now giving fans the chance to pick up some fan-favorite indie games for a big discount.

Xbox Game Pass has been a particularly successful way for many gamers to discover new indie games from small developers. Game Pass often features a mix of both lesser-known indie games and massively successful games, with Xbox recently adding 2024 smash hit TCG Card Shop Simulator to the Game Pass lineup. Xbox Launches Major Indie Game Sale

Xbox officially rolled out its brand-new “ID@Xbox Best Rated Sale” on Friday, featuring a plethora of popular indie games. The massive sale features some of gaming’s most popular indie releases at big price drops, with games like Phasmophobia and Sniper Elite: Resistance seeing steep markdowns. The list of discounted games includes hundreds of indie games available through the Xbox Store, including some like the Inside & Limbo Bundle going as high as 90% off. The Xbox indie game sale is currently scheduled to run through November 5.

Xbox fans should look to jump on plenty of games featured through the sale, with many receiving big updates in recent months. Previously-mentioned co-op horror game Phasmophobia will be receiving a new update later this month, adding “Neil’s Diner” as a brand-new map on November 11. Lies of P recently welcomed the release of its first major expansion, with the “Overture” bundle included as part of the Xbox sale. Survival game Atomfall has also rolled out multiple story expansions since its March launch, adding its second story DLC in August.

Xbox’s big indie sale comes as the Microsoft platform has plenty of major releases on the way throughout the rest of the year. Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 will serve as one of the biggest launches of the year, with the massively popular shooter scheduled to release on November 14. Xbox is also set to receive some big name ports throughout the coming months, with games like Monster Hunter Stories and Final Fantasy 7 Remake coming to the Microsoft platform.
