RubyPlay has taken two significant steps in its regulated market strategy, combining a strengthened compliance framework with expanded distribution in Ontario. Together, the developments underline the company’s focus on operating within tightly regulated environments while extending the reach of its multi-studio content portfolio across North America.
The supplier confirmed it has achieved ISO/IEC 27001:2022 certification, an internationally recognised benchmark for information security management systems. At the same time, RubyPlay has broadened its footprint in Canada through a new content partnership with NorthStar Gaming, adding both RubyPlay and Koala Games titles to the operator’s Ontario-facing casino platform.
Certification reinforces information security standards
ISO 27001 is widely used by regulators as a reference point for how companies manage sensitive data, cybersecurity controls, and risk processes. By securing this certification, RubyPlay has demonstrated that its internal systems meet strict global requirements for information security management.
The accreditation supports RubyPlay’s longer-term plans to operate in multiple regulated jurisdictions, where formal compliance standards often act as prerequisites for licensing or market entry. The certification also strengthens confidence among partners and regulators that the supplier’s operational practices align with established security expectations.
RubyPlay said the certification reflects ongoing investment in compliance as it continues to scale its business model. The company has recently expanded its multi-studio ecosystem, a structure designed to support higher output and greater content variety. Within that framework, information security compliance plays a central role in ensuring that growth does not compromise operational stability or data protection.

Ontario partnership extends regulated distribution
Alongside the compliance announcement, RubyPlay confirmed a new integration with NorthStar Gaming, expanding its presence in Ontario’s regulated online casino market. The agreement adds content from both RubyPlay and Koala Games to NorthStar’s platform, following the supplier’s formal licensing approval in the province earlier this year.
The integration brings several established RubyPlay titles to Ontario players, including Giga Match Moolah, Immortal Ways Diamonds, and Diamond Explosion 7s. In addition, games developed by Koala Games, the studio operating within RubyPlay’s multi-studio group, have also been rolled out. These include Voltage Blitz Vortex and 3 Big Barrels Aztec.
RubyPlay has positioned the partnership as part of its broader North American expansion strategy. Ontario represents a key regulated market in Canada, and the deal increases the supplier’s visibility with an operator that focuses on locally tailored digital casino offerings.

Multi-studio strategy supports wider market reach
The Ontario rollout reflects RubyPlay’s wider use of its multi-studio development model, which the company introduced to accelerate production timelines and diversify its content catalogue. By operating multiple studios under a single framework, RubyPlay aims to supply operators with a broader mix of game styles while maintaining consistent technical and compliance standards.
NorthStar Gaming welcomed the addition of the new content, highlighting the performance of RubyPlay’s portfolio. Beyond Ontario, RubyPlay has continued to add regulated distribution channels across North America and other regions. Earlier in the year, the company partnered with Ocean Casino Resort in New Jersey, launching a selection of titles on the BetOcean platform. That rollout included J Mania Lucky Pyggs, Immortal Ways Volcano, and the exclusive US release of Egyptian Sun SE.
The supplier has also confirmed new distribution routes in South America and Delaware as part of its 2025 expansion activity. Taken together with the ISO 27001 certification, these moves reflect a strategy that pairs regulatory compliance with targeted market growth, particularly in jurisdictions with established licensing frameworks.
