How to Get Herald’s Morningstar in Diablo 4
You can farm for Herald’s Morningstar by beating Duriel in the Gaping Crevasse found in Gea Kul. Duriel also shares an identical loot pool with Andariel and the Harbinger of Hatred — while we can’t confirm if these bosses also drop Herald’s Morningstar, there’s a pretty good chance that they do.
Duriel can be summoned and fought at any time as long as players are in at least Torment 1. However, to claim any actual loot from him, you need to open his treasure hoard using three Shards of Agony. These are dropped by Varshan near the Tree of Whispers and Grigoire, the lair boss in the Hall of the Penitent just south of Ked Bardu.
Andariel’s hoard can be opened using three Pincushioned Dolls, which drop from Lord Zir and the Beast in Ice. Meanwhile, the Harbinger of Hatred’s hoard is opened with three Abhorrent Hearts, which drop from Urivar in the Fields of Judgement.
As always, Belial can drop loot from any of the lair boss’ loot pools. Also, you can get Uniques by opening Helltide chests and completing activities like Nightmare Dungeons and Kurast Undercity runs.
Herald’s Morningstar Unique Effect
Herald’s Morningstar is a Unique Mace that multiplies the damage dealt by Blessed Hammer while giving it a chance to spawn a base Blessed Hammer on Lucky Hits. If you stack enough Lucky Hit chance on your Paladin while you have this weapon equipped, then you can easily fill your screen with spiralling hammers, making it an excellent Unique item for pushing Pit tiers and clearing Infernal Hordes. Herald’s Morningstar also comes with the following affixes/stats:

+Maximum Life
+Chance for Blessed Hammer to Deal Double Damage
+Ranks to Blessed Hammer
Note that Herald’s Morningstar only spawns base Blessed Hammers. It won’t shoot out any of the upgraded versions.
