Isola and Bond have come so far, but it’s not over yet. 007 First Light’s next objective in the Wave of the Future mission involves upgrading the ID Bracelet in the Security Office, but accessing said location might be a tad tricky.
The Security Office is locked up tight, so you’re going to need to find the right ventilation shaft to crawl through. If you need help getting inside, then we’ve got you covered with this step-by-step walkthrough.
There are other methods to upgrade the ID Bracelet in the Security Office, and you can find details on those methods below. However, the main focus of this guide is on the easiest method.

How to Get Into the Security Office and Upgrade the ID Bracelet in 007 First Light
Follow the upstairs hallway, and to the left of the locked Security Room, you can head downstairs. There’s an open-floor office cubicle here, with a woman on a tablet. Next to her is a Lighter that you need to grab, but you’ll first have to distract her by interacting with the vacuum cleaner.
Stand outside the office, and you can eavesdrop on two NPCs. This will begin the “Vent Access” sub-objective, where you’ll need to read the message on the desk.
With the lighter in your inventory, interact with the trash can in the southwest corner. This will cause the man inside the office to investigate. Now, enter the office and interact with the charging station to distract the woman. With both NPCs now distracted, you can inspect the message on the desk.
Now that you’ve read the memo, head back upstairs and speak with the woman leading the meeting. After a few seconds, all the NPCs will disperse, and you can interact with the vent without anyone watching.
Enter the vent and take the first right, where you will eventually reach the Security Room. Watch out, as there are two guards in here that you’ll have to fight. Don’t worry about taking them down or getting spotted, as these two guards are not related to any Ghost or Pacifist challenges!
You can now interact with the Upgrade Station to upgrade the ID Bracelet, where you can return to Isola and access the Command Center!
There are other ways to upgrade the ID Bracelet in the Security Office, and these methods also grant you challenge completions, and you can find them here: Attention to Detail, Surrender, and Snoop Around.
