The Molten Shrine is an explorable side area that contains a nifty permanent upgrade for your character in Path of Exile 2. You can find the Molten Shrine somewhere in the vicinity of Khari Crossing, one of the interlude acts of PoE 2. Explore Khari Crossing, and you’ll eventually find a cave entrance inside a giant skeleton’s mouth. Head inside, and you’ll arrive at a miniature dungeon that contains an item that will permanently boost your max health when consumed.

PoE 2 Molten Shrine Location
Based on my experience, the Molten Shrine is usually somewhere north of the Khari Bazaar in the Vastiri portion of PoE 2’s interludes, and it’s often close to the place where you find the Akthl and Anundr bosses. Head out of the bazaar and keep going north until you find a wall. Hug that wall, and follow it further north, and you should be able to see the entrance to the Molten Shrine.
The entrance to the Molten Shrine in PoE 2 is called the Skullmaw Stairway, and it’s this enormous titan skull that leads deep underground. Enter that, and you’ll find yourself in a mini-dungeon similar to the one in Act 2, where you fight the big titan boss to get a part of the Horn of Vastiri.
Fight through the monsters inside the Molten Shrine, and you’ll eventually reach an anvil with a petrified titan looming over it. On the anvil, you’ll find the Molten One’s Gift, and if you pick it up and use it from your inventory, you’ll get a permanent 5% boost to your maximum Life. This is similar to all the other permanent character upgrades in PoE 2 in the sense that it’ll stay active on whichever character you decide to use it on. If you want to get the bonus health for your other characters, you’ll have to do all of this again.
Since the Molten One’s Gift is counted as a quest item, you won’t be able to remove it from your inventory unless you outright use it. This means you can’t stow this in your stash and have a different character use it.
If you’re having issues picking up the Molten One’s Gift, or if you can’t enter the Molten Shrine in PoE 2 for whatever reason, try resetting your map instance. This should hopefully fix any issues you might be experiencing, but if that still doesn’t work, restart your game and find the Molten Shrine again.
