A Brooklyn woman accused of killing her boyfriend during a clash inside her apartment told cops she stabbed him because he had been beating her for three years and nobody would help her, law enforcement sources said Monday.
Jennifer Ayala, 36, is accused of stabbing Pedersin Pelissier, also 36, twice in the chest inside her home on Linden Blvd. near New York Ave. in Flatbush about 6:50 a.m. Saturday.
Pelissier has been arrested for six domestic violence incidents in which Ayala was the victim since May 2025, law enforcement sources said.
After Ayala was taken into custody for stabbing Pelissier, she told cops she’d had enough, sources said.
“So then I said ‘F— it. The police won’t help me, nobody will help me, I’m going to f—ing kill you,’” Ayala explained, according to sources.
After the killing, she told police she grabbed a knife to “poke” him because he wouldn’t stop hitting her, according to a criminal complaint.
She told cops that he had been beating her all night when she said, “Stop, or I’m going to poke you,” sources said, and when he kept hitting her, she went into the kitchen to grab a knife.
“Stop or I’m going to kill you,” she told cops she said before stabbing him, according to the sources.
Ayala was arraigned late Sunday in Brooklyn Criminal Court on manslaughter and weapon possession charges.

A judge ordered her held on $50,000 bond. Her lawyer, Anthony Zucco of the Legal Aid Society, declined comment Monday.
Pelissier lived in Fort Greene, according to cops.
All six of the domestic violence cases against Pelissier resulted in his arrest, but four have been sealed, sources tell the Daily News.
He was accused of punching Ayala in the forehead in her home in one of the unsealed cases and on Oct. 10, he violated an order of protection, knocked her down with a slap, kicked her while she was down and spat at the arresting officer, sources said.
A neighbor heard screaming in that case and called 911 but Ayala refused medical attention at the scene, sources said.
That case was ultimately dismissed, the sources said, and it’s not clear if Ayala had decided to go forward with the charges.
Pelissier had two ongoing criminal cases in Brooklyn at the time he was killed that were apparently unrelated to Ayala. He had been arrested July 4 for allegedly assaulting someone that day over 65. He was facing a slew of charges including assault and harassment in that case.
And on Dec. 16 he was arrested on charges he used a gun in a Brooklyn home invasion robbery a week earlier.
When cops picked him up in the robbery case, he assumed they were arresting him over something to do with Ayala. In a series of rambling statement with police, he insisted he had nothing to do with her anymore.
“Bro, I went to jail over Jennifer already bro,” he said the day of his arrest, according to court filings. “Nah come on bro. I stay away from the girl…. The girl is bipoliar schizophrenic. I left her alone bro.”
“Man, I cut ties with her and I’m still in cuffs man,” he added. “This girl’s really the devil, son.”
Neighbors of Ayala described her and Pelissier’s relationship as “toxic” Sunday, and said they would often hear Pelissier urging Ayala to “calm down.”
“They both had issues. That’s what it was,” said one neighbor on her floor, who spoke on the condition of anonymity. “I said, last week, the last time he was kicking the doors in, she was probably going to kill him or he’d kill her.”
