Sirius and Orion are a two-in-one deal, which means Warframe players will have to use and build both of them. This may seem complicated at first, seeing as how Sirius and Orion are treated as their own individual Warframes, but in reality, all you really need to do is focus on juicing up their fourth ability, Celestial Clash, as much as possible.
If you want to get the most out of Sirius and Orion in Warframe, you’ll need to understand how their kit works and how to use their abilities correctly. Here, we’ll be taking a look at how Sirius and Orion’s kit works, as well as our general recommendations on how to play these bickering brothers.

How to Play Sirius & Orion in Warframe (All Abilities)
The thing about Sirius and Orion is that while they count as a single Warframe for the purpose of your actual loadout selection, they are actually two different Warframes. They’re similar to Equinox in a way, except Sirius and Orion can be modded and customized separately, and they even have different base stats too.
Sirius (Green) is a support-oriented fighter with AoE healing and utility via Heat procs and the ability to vacuum pickups. Meanwhile, Orion (Red) focuses on offense; he can apply Slash procs and conjure black holes that suck enemies. He also has a very powerful defensive skill that can keep both him and Sirius alive even under heavy pressure, and together, they make for one of the most interesting Warframes on the roster.
In-game, you’ll control either Sirius or Orion, and whoever you’re not controlling will serve as a companion who will fight alongside you. If you hold your currently-controlled brother’s skill buttons, the other brother will take their place (by literally kicking them out of frame), essentially letting you swap characters on the fly.
Coronal Ejection & Gravitic Slash
Sirius uses Coronal Ejection to throw his scythe, damaging and applying Heat to enemies while also pulling in pickups. Meanwhile, Orion uses Gravitic Slash to deal Slash damage and apply Slash procs while reducing enemy shields and armor.
Coronal Ejection and Gravitic Slash are Sirius and Orion’s bread-and-butter abilities. They don’t deal much damage against high-level targets, but they’re indispensable for cutting through enemy defenses and building Constellation Stars for their fourth ability (more on this later).
Sirius and Orion’s Heat application isn’t as strong as someone like Uriel in Warframe, but their Heat effects can still come in handy for crowd control.
Jade Stars & Astral Shell
Jade Stars creates Jade Light Motes around Sirius and Orion while the ability is active. The motes will launch themselves towards enemies when either of the twins hit their targets, potentially inflicting Heat procs while dealing small amounts of damage on impact.
Astral Shell creates decoys of Sirius and Orion when they get hit while the buff is active. These decoys will draw the enemy’s attention until they are destroyed.
Both of these abilities will remain active regardless of which twin the player is controlling, so make sure both are active at all times.
Light’s Sanctuary & Event Horizon
Sirius creates an expanding zone that heals players when using Light’s Sanctuary. This zone will also reduce incoming damage for allies, and if anyone goes down while inside the zone, they will get revived.
Orion conjures a miniature black hole with Event Horizon. This ability sucks in any enemy in its path, and when it expires or is recast, the black hole explodes.
Event Horizon will likely see more use than Light’s Sanctuary, though having both abilities active on the field won’t hurt.
Celestial Clash
This ability is Sirius and Orion’s real damage dealer. There’s quite a lot to unpack here, so we’ll summarize the interactions instead:
Once you unlock Celestial Clash, a Constellation will appear over your ability icons on the bottom-right. This will light up when you use abilities.
Sirius and Orion enters a free flight stance. 100 Energy is drained from whoever casts Celestial Clash.
Celestial Clash can only be used when you have Constellation Stars. Sirius generates a green star when he casts an ability, while Orion generates a red one. You can only get two of the same Constellation Stars in a row, so make sure to alternate your ability casts.
While Celestial Clash is active, you can’t use any of your other abilities. Press LMB to make Sirius attack, and RMB to make Orion attack. When the twins clash, their shockwaves will damage nearby enemies.
When the ability is active, you’ll notice either a red or a green icons on your HUD. When the red icon appears, attack with Orion. When the green one appears, attack with Sirius. Match the colors to the right Warframe to gain bonus crit chance and crit damage on Celestial Clash’s attacks.
In my experience, the best way to quickly stack Constellation Stars is to use Event Horizon, then alternate between Coronal Ejection and Gravitic Slash. Let the black hole suck enemies in, then smack it around with the twins’ first ability.
Celestial Slash requires line of sight on enemies in order to hit. Also, its stats appear to depend on which of the brothers is currently on your screen (i.e. whoever is triggering the hit).
Which Twin Should Main?
You can use either of them to stand as the frontliner who takes and deals the most damage with your equipped weapons, so just go for whoever you like more. At the end of the day, you’ll still be constantly swapping between them. Just make sure that whoever you pick has enough defensive mods to keep them alive.

How to Build Sirius and Orion in Warframe
If you don’t want to bother with the nuances between the twins, you can just use the same mods and Arcanes for both of them. What matters is that they both have high Ability Strength so Celestial Clash deals the most damage it possibly can. My builds for Sirius and Orion so far are:
Sirius
Dreamer’s Bond
Power Drift
Flow
Stretch
Augur Message
Augur Accord
Adaptation
Vigor
Precision Intensify
Transient Fortitude
Orion
Corrosive Projection
Power Drift
Stretch
Augur Message
Augur Accord
Transient Fortitude
Primed Continuity
Precision Intensify
Fast Deflection
Primed Flow
Sirius and Orion get a 45% Ability Efficiency bonus for two skill casts after swapping. They are very Energy efficient, but only if you alternate between them.
I put Adaptation and Vigor on Sirius since he has high Health and Shields. Meanwhile, Orion gets increased Ability Range, Shield Recharge, and Duration to get more value out of Astral Shell and Event Horizon. Bonus shield regeneration lets Orion regenerate shields faster while he’s not being controlled.
As mentioned, you’ll want to stack as much Ability Strength as possible for Celestial Clash. Precision Intensify is great for Sirius and Orion as none of their other skills benefit from Ability Strength as much as Celestial Clash does. Personally, I would add either Blind Rage or Augur Secrets into both Sirius and Orion for even more Ability Strength, but unfortunately, I have neither of these mods.
If you’re having trouble surviving or managing your Energy, swap one of your mods for Equilibrium.
Arcanes
Molt Augmented is a no-brainer for Caster Frames like Sirius and Orion, and since we’ll be spamming abilities with both of them, we’re taking Arcane Energize as well. Alternatively, you can turn either Sirius or Orion into a decent weapons platform by using Arcane Rage and relying on the armor strip effects from their abilities.
For Archon Shards, two Red Ability Strength Shards, two Yellow Cast Speed Shards, and a blue Health Shard.
Alternatives
Growing Power can replace either of your Aura mods for even more Ability Strength
You can use triple Umbral mods for a more well-rounded setup on either of the brothers
If you want to increase Orion’s staying power, equip him with high Shields and Adaptation
If you can find a way to make one of the brothers invisible, Arcane Crepuscular will triple Celestial Clash’s damage
As mentioned, squeeze in Blind Range in your build if you can. It stacks with other Ability Strength mods.
Weapons
Your choice of weapons doesn’t really affect Sirius and Orion much, though I recommend Status-based ones that can help strip armor or inflict Viral on enemies. If you’re playing on Steel Path, you’ll still want to match your weapon’s elemental damage types to whatever your enemies are weakest against. Condition Overload effects are great for scaling damage in high-level content, so make sure to have related mods equipped.
Sirius and Orion will share weapons with each other. For example, if you’re using Sirius and you have your primary weapon equipped, Orion will fight with secondary and melee weapons.
