Deathspinners are small spider enemies that feature in Rex Infernus in Special Rounds (Max Ammo rounds), and they can be quite the threat if you come unprepared. Despite their small size, these zombie arachnids are no joke, and their sheer numbers might overwhelm you, or you might end up getting webbed up, slowed, and beaten to death by the zombie horde. Below, we’ll share details you need to know, including the Deathspinner elemental weakness in Black Ops 7 Zombies.

Deathspinner Elemental Weakness, Explained
Deathspinners are weak to Dead Wire.
Just like the Necropincer, the Deathspinners are weak to the Dead Wire Ammo Mod. Thankfully, Deathspinners are not Special Enemies; they just feature on Special Rounds (and sometimes on regular rounds). If you want to mitigate the threat of Deathspinners, then use Lightning Strike as your Major Augment, as this will send down a bolt of lightning to stun the Deathspinners in place (and that’s if it doesn’t just kill them).
The elemental damage of Dead Wire will be deadly enough to kill Deathspinners without the need for Augments, but try to run Aftershock and Haste so that you can stun them more often and spread that stun to all nearby enemies, since Deathspinners will often huddle up together as a creepy crawling horde.
When it comes to fighting Deathspinners, you just need to treat them as standard enemy units, where they will swarm together and attempt to overwhelm you. The critical hit spot of a Deathspinner is its body, so shoot the orange back and get ready to evade as it tries to shoot slowing webs at you. Even if you do get hit by a web, just keep running, and you’ll break the slowed effect!
