Entanglement is the gauge found at the bottom of the screen, and it’s used to perform special attacks in Beast of Reincarnation. Both Emma and Koo have their own special abilities that will help them in battles. Just as Koo has FP and can do Bloom Arts, Emma has an Entanglement gauge that allows her to do Blade Arts and stop time for a while. What Does Entanglement Do In Beast Of Reincarnation?

The Entanglement gauge helps Emma activate the Entanglement Overdrive and perform Blade Art attacks in Beast of Reincarnation. It is filled by performing successful parries in battle. You will always have the first part of the gauge full at the start of any fight or while exploring. Even if you consume it, it re-fills automatically. If players want to fill the gauge and Koo’s FP, they must parry.

Another great method to fill it up is by unlocking the Entanglement Gauge Recovery Skill in Emma’s tree, as it helps her fill the gauge when using normal attacks. Choosing to guard against enemies’ attack instead of parrying, consumes some parts of the gauge to keep Emma safe.
Other abilities, such as crouching in an open space and summoning the concealing flowers after unlocking the Cloaking Grass ability, also consume the Entanglement gauge.
Entanglement Overdrive

When the Entanglement gauge is full, you can activate the Entanglement Overdrive ability to stop time. This gives you time to perform deadly attacks, reposition yourself, or simply to heal. Keep in mind that if you decide to attack with special Blade Art, they also consume the gauge, so the Overdrive ability will end early.

You can increase the duration in which time is paused by upgrading the Entanglement Overdrive skill in Emma’s tree. There are also skills that expand the gauge, so you can perform more attacks while Overdrive is active.
Special Blade Arts

Emma can consume some parts of the Entanglement gauge to perform special Blade Art attacks. You will see the options you have after doing a normal attack.

Upon successfully defeating a Nushi at the end of every chapter, Emma can absorb their powers and gain a new Blade Art. You can upgrade these special skills to deal more damage, increase range, and attack faster.
