50 Cent had a bold statement for disgraced music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs following Wednesday’s verdict in his federal sex trafficking case.

The “In Da Club” rapper, who has relentlessly trolled his longtime rival throughout the eight-week trial, reacted to the news of Diddy being convicted on just two of the five charges against him.

“Diddy beat the RICO [racketeering conspiracy charge], that boy a bad man,” 50 wrote on Instagram. “He like the Gay John Gotti.”

Gotti was a mobster in New York City who avoided legal woes for years before being arrested for racketeering in 1990. He was convicted in 1992.

Combs, who pleaded not guilty to all the charges he faced, was acquitted of the more serious counts of sex trafficking and racketeering but found guilty of transporting people around the country, including his girlfriends and male sex workers, to engage in wild encounters known as “freak-offs.”

In 2024, Netflix partnered with 50 Cent’s production company G-Unit Film & Television to produce a docuseries called “Diddy Do It?,” which centers on the sexual assault and abuse allegations that have been brought against Combs through the years.

“We remain steadfast in our commitment to give a voice to the voiceless and to present authentic and nuanced perspectives,” 50 and director Alexandria Stapleton said in a statement to Variety when announcing the series.

“While the allegations are disturbing, we urge all to remember that Sean Combs’ story is not the full story of hip-hop and its culture,” they added. “We aim to ensure that individual actions do not overshadow the culture’s broader contributions.”

It’s unclear when the documentary is set to be released.

Following Wednesday’s verdict, Diddy was denied bail and will remain behind bars until his sentence hearing on Oct. 3. He faces a maximum of 10 years in prison for each of the two counts of transportation for prostitution for which he was convicted.
