Triumph’s strategy is rooted in a deep history of game development. The studio’s leadership includes veterans from acclaimed studios like Telltale Games UK, and old school PlayStation games Die Hard Trilogy and Alien Trilogy, with its founders having launched more than 30 games since 1998.
The gameplay-first philosophy is evident in the studio’s diverse portfolio of live and tested titles, which have collectively amassed approximately 400,000 downloads and sign-ups.
Flagship titles include:
BattleRise: A tactical fantasy RPG with deep strategic combat and a rich lore-driven world. The game is already live on mobile with over 60,000 downloads.
Legends of Elumia: A sprawling MMORPG that gives players full ownership of their in-game assets and characters. The game will relaunch as a free-to-play title on the Epic Games Store and Google Play Store to attract mainstream players.
ArmourX: A fast-paced open-world action RPG built on Unreal Engine 5 and designed for mobile-first audiences. The game has attracted 355,000 sign-ups for its upcoming closed beta.
NPCs with an attitude
A core part of Triumph’s strategy is to make the transition from Web2 to Web3 seamless. The studio uses tools like Immutable Passport, a wallet and authentication solution for gamers and ThirdWeb, a platform that simplifies Web3 development, to handle the complexities of blockchain in the background. This accessible approach allows traditional gamers to onboard and play without needing a wallet or prior crypto knowledge.
Triumph’s focus on bridging worlds extends to gameplay innovation. The studio is integrating its proprietary “Emotive AI” to push the boundaries of player interaction and create more dynamic game worlds.
The technology powers intelligent non-player characters (NPCs) with rich backstories and personalities. One example is a new AI shopkeeper added to BattleRise, which can be haggled with or convinced to part with rare items, moving beyond simple transactional interactions.
