How To Beat Dimitrescu’s Daughters

Lady Dimitrescu and her three daughters hunger for manflesh, and Ethan Winters is the perfect game to play with. Thankfully, players can control Ethan and ensure they’re not going to be any witch’s dinner, and so the fight begins in Resident Evil Village against 3 bosses that linger within the walls of Castle Dimitrescu.

If you’re struggling to find the weaknesses and right weapons needed to beat the 3 Daughters of Lady Dimitrescu, then we’ve got you covered. Below, you’ll find the locations of each daughter, how to weaken them, and how you can easily kill them to ensure they’re never coming back.

How to Beat Bela, Dimitrescu’s First Daughter

After you manage to unlock the Prioress Door in the Main Hall (2F), you’ll be chased through the Dressing Room, where you can find a crumbled wall that allows you to drop down into the Basement. You will need to navigate through the linear path of the Chamber of Solace, where, upon reaching the Kitchen, you will be confronted by Bela.

The introduction to Bela will show you how to beat her. All Daughters of Dimitrescu are weak to cold temperatures, so you will need to weaken them by making them walk into exposed air, which in the Kitchen, is the smashed window on the east wall. To easily beat Bela, loop around her through the Kitchen and shoot her with the Shotgun until she eventually freezes and crumbles into the Crystal Torso item.

How to Beat Daniela, Dimitrescu’s Second Daughter

Daniela confronts the player once they manage to get through the Courtyard and solve the piano puzzle in the Opera Hall for the Iron Insignia Key. With the Key acquired, you’ll want to make your way up the staircase, where you will meet Daniela inside the Library.

In the west area of the Library, when facing east, you can find a golden lever on the center gazebo that will open the skylight and let the cold air in. When Daniela stands in the center of the room with the skylight open, she will be weakened, and you can use your Shotgun to blast her in the face.

Keep running in the outer areas of the Library to avoid her attacks, and open the skylight again when you have a safe opportunity to do so, so you can finish her off and claim yet another Crystal Torso to sell for Lei at Duke in the Merchant’s Room.

How to Beat Cassandra, Dimitrescu’s Third Daughter

As you adventure through Castle Dimitrescu, you will eventually obtain Dimitrescu’s Key, which you can use to open the Hall of Pleasure after the Prioress Door in the south of the Main Hall (2F). Inside the Hall of Pleasure, continue through the corridor where you will meet Cassandra in the Armory.

To beat Cassandra, you will need a Pipe Bomb. Luckily, there are 2 Pipe Bombs on a table by the north wall. With Pipe Bombs acquired, face the south wall and interact with the shelf to push it to the right. Doing so will reveal a crack in the wall, with the text “Cold air is coming from the crack. Could break it open with a powerful attack”. To create a powerful attack, throw a Pipe Bomb at the wall.

This will open the wall and expose the cold air to Cassandra, who can now be shot repeatedly with a Shotgun to easily damage. The best way to avoid her attacks is by weaving between the armor and obstacles, while keeping Cassandra by the exposed wall, until she dies and provides you with your final Crystal Torso.
