How To Start Hair Today, Gone Tomorrow (Mysterious Package Location)
Palia’s ‘Hair Today, Gone Tomorrow’ quest automatically starts when you open the crate in the Elderwood’s Okanna Bog area, as located above, where you can find the crate next to some ruins. Open the crate to trigger and start the quest, which tells you more information in the Quest menu, as pictured below.
The quest information says you’ve discovered an undelivered package in the Elderwood from someone called Tarkaa, addressed to an unknown recipient in Kilima. However, there’s no name on the package, so it’s up to you to find out who it belongs to.
If you’ve already unlocked all the stables in Elderwood, you can use one to quickly fast travel to Kilima Village Central Stables for a small amount of gold.
Who To Give The Mysterious Package To in Hair Today, Gone Tomorrow
While you could try to ask every villager in Palia back in Kilima about the package, the ones we asked didn’t have a dialogue option related to the quest. Therefore, to speed things along, the correct villager to ask about the undelivered package is Mayor Kenli, who you can often find inside the Mayor’s office inside the City Hall, as pictured above.
When speaking to Kenli, ask if he ordered anything from Tarkaa, and he’ll tell you the package belongs to him. It turns out it’s a spray-on wig, which somewhat explains the amusing quest title. Kenli says he’ll send you a letter to let you know how he gets on with his hair.
Wait For Kenli’s Mail
The final step in ‘Hair Today, Gone Tomorrow’ is to wait for Kenli to send a letter to your mailbox at your housing plot in Kilima, which should show up the next time you get mail. While waiting, you could carry on with other Elderwood quests or activities.
Check your mailbox later on to read the letter from Kenli to learn more about his hair adventures. Doing so completes the quest and rewards you with the Aristocrat Mirror, a furniture item you can add as a decoration to your plot.
