Diamond is one of the most valuable crafting materials in Crimson Desert that players will need to craft or upgrade their Abyss Gears. Purchasing them from vendors isn’t an option, as players will need to mine it in caves. Diamond caves are rare in the continent of Pywel, but players can fortunately find one relatively early on in the game. Here’s how to find a cave and get Diamonds in Crimson Desert.

How to Get Diamonds in Crimson Desert
Players can find a Diamond cave early on in Crimson Desert, just south of the Howling Hill Greymanes camp. Diamonds can be found inside Hernand Highlands Cave, which is located south of the camp in the large pit. This is the same pit where you’ll also solve the Dragon Stone Chamber puzzle to activate an Abyss Cresset fast travel point.
Make sure to secure a Pickaxe from the Provisioner’s shop in Hernand City to mine Diamond mineral nodes.
If you stand at the edge of the large crater/pit, you’ll spot a small cave entrance at the bottom, towards the southern wall. Simply head down the pit and enter the cave. Follow the narrow winding cavern walls, and you’ll also find stalactites on your way.
At the end of the cave, you’ll finally come across a deposit of Diamond minerals that you can mine either using a Pickaxe or using your Force Palm ability. Each deposit in the cave can give you up to two Diamond rocks, which you can collect once they fall to the ground.
Once you have enough Diamonds in Crimson Desert, you can head to a witch and use them to craft new Abyss Gears or upgrade your existing ones. Diamonds also fetch a good price if you sell them to a merchant, and can be a good source of silver coins.
