How to Upgrade Ghostly Riflemen in Kowakujo (Black Ops 7 Zombies)

With secret cat wonder weapons, mech suits, and obstacle courses, Kowakujo has so much to do and discover, and one of the most powerful things you can do is activate x4 upgrades for the Ghostly Riflemen Trap! These upgrades provide the Ghostly Riflemen with deadly ammo mods to enhance their power to make high rounds all too easy, and all you need is a Combat Bow, the Central Courtyard, and the ability to hit targets.

How to Upgrade the Ghostly Riflemen Trap (& Get the Citadel Calling Card) in Kowakujo

With the Combat Bow acquired, head to the Central Courtyard and activate the Ghostly Riflemen Trap. While the trap is active, go behind it and look through the circular hole in the wall. You will see a blue spectral target on the rope of the tree, which can be shot with the Combat Bow.

Once the target has been shot, you will be in Aether Shroud, and you can now enter the Central Courtyard to look around the tree for more targets. You need to shoot a total of 5 targets, and their locations are randomized. If you are successful, four spectral masks can be found on the wall by the trap, and you can interact with them to see them fly into the trap statues.

This easter egg can be repeated three more times. In order to repeat the step, you need to get kills with the Ghostly Riflemen Trap, so keep activating it and let them deal with the zombies. When you’ve killed enough, you can repeat the steps above, interact with the mask, and repeat until you get the Citadel Calling Card!

Upgrading the Ghostly Riflemen Trap a total of four times provides the following effects, which can be extremely useful for Assault Waves:

Explosive shots from Napalm Burst.

Explosive fire wheel from Fire Works.

Healing orbs from Light Mend.

Freeze effects from Cryo Freeze on the trap statues.
