Well, after a frustratingly long wait, fans finally got official confirmation on Season 3 of One Punch Man, which is currently in production. One Punch Man Season 3 Is Getting A Panel At Anime Expo On July 5

We Might Get A Brand New Trailer For The Third Season

Anime Expo 2025 is coming to Los Angeles next month (July 3-5), and recently, it was confirmed that Season 3 of One Punch Man is getting a panel on July 5. The official cast, including Makoto Furukawa (Saitama’s VA), Max Mittelman (Saitama’s English VA), and Greg Chun (Garou’s English VA), will make a guest appearance at the event. On top of that, One Punch Man manga’s editor, Toshiaki Oshima, and the anime adaptation’s producer, Chinatsu Matsui, will also be part of the event.

Season 3 of the anime is inching closer to its official release, so the cast intends to reveal some massive information around the upcoming season. Also, as of now, we have only seen a single trailer for the third season. So, it’s entirely possible that fans at the event will get to see a brand-new trailer, which might give us a better idea of the animation style. Apart from that, we might also hear about the episode count of the third season, so be sure not to miss out on the announcements.

One Punch Man Fandom Is Desperate For A Win

It Has Been A Tough Phase For One Punch Man Fans So Far

One Punch Man Season 1 was a big hit, and Madhouse really delivered in terms of animation and direction. The second season, however, was a step down, especially because of the change in the animation studio. After that, the anime adaptation stayed out of the picture for several years, and fans were growing desperate for the anime’s return. Fortunately, Season 3 of the anime series was announced last year; however, J.C. Staff, the studio that took over the anime with Season 2, is returning to animate the third season.

To be clear, J.C. Staff’s animation in Season 2 wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t as great as it was in Season 1. On top of that, the first teaser for Season 3 didn’t exactly impress fans in terms of animation. Therefore, it’s understandable why fans are a little worried, while also being thrilled about the upcoming season. At the same time, OPM manga fans aren’t having a great time either, as the manga series has also gone on a two-month hiatus. That happened after ONE and Yusuke Murata spent more than a year redrawing the Ninja Village arc.

So, let’s just hope that Season 3 delivers in terms of quality, and the fight between Saitama and Garou creates as much hype as it did when the manga chapters came out.
