Shift Up has officially announced a Persona crossover event in Goddess of Victory: Nikke, scheduled to begin on August 13. The collab will not center on a single title but rather feature elements of all the mainline Persona games from the 3D era of the franchise.
The South Korean developer originally teased the Persona crossover during a Goddess of Victory: Nikke livestream on June 27. Not much was said about the promotion at the time, with Shift Up merely indicating that the collaboration was going to be tied to the year-round Persona 30th anniversary celebrations.

While the developer is still keeping its cards close to the chest, it has now formally announced the Persona crossover event, scheduling it for August 13. Accompanying that announcement is a new piece of promotional artwork showing the Counters in a three-color collage format inspired by existing Persona merch designs featuring Makoto and Yu alongside Ren. Shift Up’s full message also includes a promise of a “special gift” that players can expect on the first day of the event.
Separately, Shift Up released a prepared statement confirming that the Persona event will include a new storyline. That is fairly standard practice for Goddess of Victory: Nikke crossovers, which come in a variety of formats but generally strive to engage players beyond merely adding a few cosmetics. The full list of what is meant to debut during the Persona crossover has yet to be shared. Based on Shift Up’s established practices, the complete announcement may only happen once the crossover is officially live. New playable characters, bosses, costumes, and consumable rewards are all a possibility. The game’s first-ever Persona-themed collaboration will be available across both PC and mobile.

The three-game lineup gives the promotion a broader scope than the recent Persona 5 Royal crossover with Call of Duty: Mobile, which centered solely on the latest mainline entry in the series featuring Phantom Thieves. That broader scope also fits the way Atlus has approached the franchise’s 30th anniversary, electing to commemorate it with a year-long series of merch launches, restaurant promotions, and crossover events. The celebrations have most recently culminated in the Persona 4 Revival release date announcement and Persona 6 reveal, both of which happened during the June 2026 Xbox Games Showcase.
Like many successful gacha games, Goddess of Victory: Nikke maintains player interest through a consistent stream of new limited-time content. Therefore, it is likely that the upcoming crossover event will already be over by the time Persona 4 Revival releases on February 18. Looking beyond that, Persona 6 officially lacks a launch window of any kind, but serial leaker NateTheHate recently hinted at a late 2027 launch being a possibility for the project. More Persona crossover events remain a possibility in the meantime, especially in the immediate lead-up to the actual 30th anniversary of the franchise, which falls on September 20.
