In April, a web domain for a potential Persona 4 remake was updated, following a past pattern of sites being updated by Atlus ahead of major game announcements. In the same month, established Microsoft leaker Extas1s stated that the project would be properly revealed in June, at the Xbox Games Showcase. More corroboration of this claim has now surfaced, just days ahead of the highly anticipated event.

The Persona 4 Remake May Be Revealed During Sunday’s 2025 Xbox Games Showcase
Persona 3 Reload was a massive hit for Atlus, selling a million units in its first week and becoming the fastest-selling game in the series. Earlier this year, rumors surfaced regarding more Persona remakes in the works at Atlus, with the studio potentially also planning a remaster of Innocent Sin and Eternal Punishment, featuring new translations and quality of life improvements. Unfortunately, Persona 6 news has remained elusive, with no official comment made by Atlus to date.
In May, Persona 5: The Phantom X confirmed its release in the West, with the gacha title slated to launch for PC and mobile devices on June 26. The free-to-play game will once again task players with becoming a member of the Phantom Thieves as they engage in turn-based battles by night while living a normal student life by day.
