Energy Regen is one of the most important stats Sunna needs in Zenless Zone Zero. Her entire kit revolves around casting her EX Special Attack every time she joins the field. So, she needs a weapon that can buff her Energy Regen.

Why It’s Good
Thoughtbop
While not the active Agent, Thoughtbop constantly regenerates Sunna’s Energy while also giving her Energy Regen from its Substat. All that helps Sunna cast her EX Special Attack more often during combat. Additionally, Thoughtbop gives Sunna the ability to buff her teammates, which is always great for ZZZ support Agents. There’s no doubt that Thoughtbop is the best W-Engine for Sunna in Zenless Zone Zero since it’s her signature weapon.
Kaboom the Cannon
When building Sunna with Kaboom the Cannon, her team will constantly get an ATK% buff every time any Agent in her team hits an enemy. Sunna will also get Energy Regen from the Substat, making this 4-star an essential W-engine for Sunna, if she doesn’t own her signature weapon.
Slice of Time
If Sunna is suffering with Energy and Decibels during combat, you can build her with the Slice of Time W-Engine. It’s a niche W-Engine that regenerates Sunna’s Decibels and Energy whenever one of her teammates triggers a Dodge, Assist, and Chain attacks. These kinds of attacks happen frequently, which will surely regenerate her EX Special Attack and Ultimate.

When building Sunna in Zenless Zone Zero, it’s important to keep increasing her ATK% to maximize the buff she gives from her Core Passive. So, build her Disc 4 and Disc 5 with ATK% main stats. On the other hand, Energy Regen is also important for her kit, which can be on her Disc 6.

4pc: Moonlight Lullaby
The Moonlight Lullaby Drive Discs set starts strong by giving her Energy Regen on its 2pc effect. After that, whenever Sunna casts her EX Special Attack or Ultimate, she’ll increase the entire team’s DMG%. As mentioned before, this is really important for her kit, especially when combined with all the other supportive utilities she offers during combat.
2pc: Swing Jazz
For a 2pc set to put alongside the Moonlight Lullaby set, you can build Sunna with either a set that increases her Energy Regen or ATK%. Given that her ATK% requirement is a little forgiving, it’s better to just stack more Energy Regen on her build in ZZZ.
