The Continent is huge and players can discover many areas in Clair Obscur: Expedition 33. After Esquie gains the ability to swim and players are headed towards Monoco’s Station in the snowy part of The Continent, you can make a detour to a small location and help Troubadour.
Troubadour is a Nevron, but unlike the normal ones where they attack the expedition members immediately in Expedition 33, Troubadour is actually harmless and requires your help to stop killing his friends. Completing the Nevron’s challenge rewards players with a new Pictos.

How To Complete Troubadour Challenge In Clair Obscur: Expedition 33
Troubadour is located in a small area called the Stone Quarry. To reach it, head northeast from the Forgotten Battlefield in Clair Obscur: Expedition 33. Enter to find an Expedition Flag and a lone Nevron between a lot of corpses. Speak with Troubadour, and he explains how he was only trying to play an instrument and have fun with his new friends, but they kept dying. As he’s ready to give up on playing the trumpet and making friends, players can try to help him.
To complete Troubadour’s challenge in Expedition 33, players must dodge the wrong notes (red orbs) and get hit by the correct notes (green orbs) in all three stages. To easily figure out the color of the orb, watch the Trumpet as the Nevron is playing it. For a split of a second, the color of the orb will appear before it shoots towards you.
There will be three stages in total, and in each one the Nevron will play more notes. The first stage has only four notes, the second stage has eight notes, and the last stage has 12 notes. Evading a correct note or getting hit by the wrong note will make you lose the current stage. Luckily, players don’t have to repeat all the stages as you will only repeat the one you lost and advance to the next one when you win. You completely lose the challenge and are forced to repeat from the beginning only when the character dies.
Once the Troubadour’s challenge is complete in Clair Obscure: Expedition 33, speak with the Nevron to receive the
Healing Parry
Pictos. It’s a level 10 Pictos that recovers 3% of health on each successful parry.
Should You Attack Troubadour In Clair Obscur: Expedition 33
Although it is possible to kill the Nevron, it’s highly advised that you don’t attack Troubadour. Help him and get the Pictos, then leave him alone. Later on, players will be rewarded for their choice to leave the Nevron alone.
