This race can be challenging since it’s run on a dirt track, follows a counterclockwise layout, and covers 1,600 meters (a mile). How to Win February Stakes Year 3 Race in Umamusume Pretty Derby

To enter the February Stakes in your horsegirl’s third year (Senior Year), she needs at least 12,000 fans from her earlier races. The goal for this race is usually to finish in the top five, which isn’t always easy. Here’s how to improve your chances of winning the February Stakes in Umamusume Pretty Derby:

Firstly, your horsegirl needs to be good on Dirt track. If you’re using someone like Haru Urara, who already has an A in Dirt, you’re all set. But if you’re picking someone else, make sure her ground rating is bumped up to A through inheritance (Legacy Umas). Even with Haru Urara, make sure your Legacy team helps keep that A in Dirt; otherwise, she may struggle in this race.

Next, your horsegirl should have a strong aptitude for Mile distance races. Haru Urara starts with a B in Mile, so pair her with veteran runners who can push that to an A. If you don’t have good ones, guest veterans are always an option; you can rent them using Monies.

Also, grab any Mile-related skills like Watchful Eye and Unyielding Spirit; they directly improve her odds in this race. Wet Conditions is also a helpful pick, since February often brings soft or heavy track conditions.

Lastly, make sure to adjust her racing position based on her aptitude. For example, if she has an A in Front-style, set her to run in front, so she can bring the best out of her on this G1 track.
