Where to Find All TK Codes in Metroid Prime 4

As you make your way through Metroid Prime 4: Beyond’s Ice Belt dungeon, you’ll encounter two Psychic Locks that will temporarily halt your progression. When these objects are scanned, they reveal a special pattern that can only be deciphered by collecting the appropriate number of TK Codes. In this guide, we’ll show you where to find all six TK Codes in Metroid Prime 4.

Ice Belt Psychic Lock 1 TK Codes – Metroid Prime 4: Beyond

Psychic Lock 1 Location:

You’ll find the first Psychic Lock in the Bio-labs section of Ice Belt. It is located at the end of the lab hallway, after the branching paths split off to the left and the right. You can interact with the lock when you first encounter it, but without the TK Codes, you’ll have no way of cracking it.

Psychic Lock 1 – TK Code 1:

The first TK Code can be found in the small lab on the left side of the main path, if you are looking directly at the Psychic Lock.

In the chamber, you’ll find three green pods. Scan the central pod to reveal the first TK Code.

Manipulate the pieces of the code cipher to form a diamond, as shown in the above image. This will be the final step in acquiring the first TK Code.

Psychic Lock 1 – TK Code 2:

The second TK Code is located in the small chamber off the right side of the main path that leads to the Psychic Lock. However, before you can collect it, you’ll need to make your way into the larger SE chamber and get the Psychic Lasso upgrade, the pre-cursor to the Psychic Grapple, which you’ll get later in the game. Once you have that, you can head into the smaller lab.

Inside the smaller lab, you’ll see several small cases with see-through covering. Inside, there are small objects that are drained of color. Inside one of the cases, you’ll find an object that is still green. Use the lasso to remove the cover, then scan the green object to reveal the

TK Code. Form it into the proper shape and return to the Psychic Lock.

With both TK Codes in your possession, the solution will be shown to the right of the Psychic Lock. Use the Psychic Visor and Control Beam to trace out the pattern on the surface of the lock.

Ice Belt Psychic Lock 2 TK Codes – Metroid Prime 4: Beyond

Psychic Lock 2 Location:

The second Psychic Lock in the Ice Belt dungeon is located on the Medical Bays level, in the Staging Corridor section of the map. Almost as soon as you reach the Medical Bays level after coming down from Bio-labs, you should see the Psychic Lock on the left, blocking the main path forward until you find the

Psychic Lock 2 – TK Code 1:

The first TK Code is found by scanning a small canister on a shelf in one of the small labs along the corridor leading out of the Staging Area where the lock is located. At the end of the corridor, turn into the unlocked lab on the right. Enter the Morph Ball slot that leads to the next lab, and you’ll find the object inside.

Psychic Lock 2 – TK Code 2:

The second TK Code is found by scanning the strange surgical devices above the medical bed in the Surgery Bay chamber. This chamber is at the far edge of the level, with two long Morph Ball slots coming out of both sides.

Psychic Lock 2 – TK Code 3:

The third TK Code for Psychic Lock 2 is located in the small control chamber in the Recovery Bay. Use the Lasso to remove the hatch from the door. When you look at the screens hanging near the window, you’ll see that one is covered in ice. Remove the ice, then use the Lasso to pull the screen down. Once it is on the ground, scan it to reveal the TK Code.

Psychic Lock 2 – TK Code 4:

The final TK Code in Ice Belt is the central chamber of the Storage Bay, the large cylindrical chamber at the opposite end of the Medical Bays level from the Recovery Bay.

In the central chamber, you’ll see a crane arm with a powered joint that is frozen. Shoot the joint with a missile or charge beam shot. This will cause it to drop a griever pod into the nearby apparatus. Interact with the confirmation hologram to open the pod, then scan the frozen griever specimen inside. This will reveal the final TK Code and shape. Once complete, return to Psychic Lock 2 and complete the code inscription.
