A neighbor broke down a 59-year-old woman’s door, then punched, choked and raped her in her Brooklyn home, police and prosecutors say.
Jakhongir Sattorov, 38, pushed open his neighbor’s bedroom door near 15th Ave. and 71st St. in Bensonhurst with enough force Friday night that he shattered the lock, according to a criminal complaint.
Once inside, he punched her in the face and body, choked her until she became lightheaded and couldn’t breathe and then raped her, the complaint says.
Medics took the woman to an area hospital in stable condition after the 8:15 p.m. attack.
Cops arrested Sattorov that night, charging him with rape, assault, criminal obstruction of breathing, sexual misconduct and criminal mischief.
He was arraigned Sunday in Brooklyn Criminal Court and ordered held without bail until his next appearance Thursday.
