A 23-year-old woman was fatally shot in the eye in front of a Bronx playground early Thursday, police said.
Reyna Caceres was shot in the left eye on Aqueduct Ave. near W. 181st St. in University Heights about 12:10 a.m.
Medics rushed her to St. Barnabas Hospital but she could not be saved. She was about half a mile from home when she was shot, according to cops.

The killer, wearing all black, got away and has not been caught. No motive has been established, police said.
Cops taped off the crime scene in front of Aqueduct Lands Playground near an elementary school as they investigated.
