A 30-year-old man was shot to death near the Canarsie Pier in Brooklyn early Sunday, cops said.

John Garvin was shot in the head and chest just off the Belt Parkway near the pier in Canarsie about 3:15 a.m., cops said. Police believe the shooting stemmed from a dispute at the scene.

Medics rushed Garvin to Brookdale University Hospital but he could not be saved. He lived just a few blocks from the pier, according to cops.
Members of Garvin’s family visited the scene of his slaying hours after he was shot. One distraught woman sat on the ground next to a large pool of blood as another woman embraced her.
His family declined to speak to a Daily News reporter.

No arrests have been made.
