Days Gone Remastered is an action-adventure game set in Oregon after a zombie apocalypse tore through the country. Players follow Deacon as he travels across the map on his bike, fighting Freaks and investigating the government agency known as Nero.
Deacon moves through the world on his motorbike. The bike makes quick getaways and navigating the twists and turns of the Oregon forests a lot easier. Players can upgrade and customize their bike for better performance and a unique appearance. This guide provides information on all the various bike customization options, including skins and equipment, in Days Gone Remastered.

How to Change Bike Skins in Days Gone Remastered
Players start the game with a custom bike that Deacon upgraded himself. However, almost immediately, the bike gets stolen and stripped for parts, so players are back at square one with a basic bike. This makes driving through rough terrain significantly more challenging, as the bike has a smaller gas tank, reduced durability, and no speed boost. Not to mention, its appearance could use some work. Players get access to their bike upgrades at Copeland’s camp. If they deliver the Drug Stash to Copeland, players receive a significant boost in relationship points, allowing them to edit their bike early in the game by speaking with Manny, the camp mechanic.
Players can start customizing their bikes after completing the Price on Your Head primary story mission. There are two main camps on the starting area that Deacon works for: Copeland (Bike Upgrades) and Tucker (Gun Upgrades).
Players can get Custom Accents, or bike skins, at the camp mechanic. Bike skins are full-painted themes that apply to the headlight housing, fenders, and gas tanks. There are 15 free Custom Accents and 31 that are unlocked by completing main story missions.

Days Gone: How to Unlock and Use Fast Travel
Players can make their way across the map in no time if they use fast travel – here’s how this mechanic works in Days Gone.
Bike skins are purely cosmetic, but players can also upgrade their bike’s equipment at the camp mechanics. As players complete bounties, pick up gear, and interact with the camps, they earn trust points and level up their relationship with them. There are three categories for bike customization in Days Gone Remastered:
Camp Mechanics perform repairs and refuel the bike for Credits, but players can also find free fuel and car scrap parts to do their own repairs.
Each type of equipment has variations of better quality. The higher the camp level is, the more equipment upgrades become available. Players will also get more bike options as they unlock other regions throughout the game, such as Iron Mike’s Camp and Diamond Lake Camp.
