Two straphangers were slashed in the subway system in Midtown Manhattan in separate attacks less than an hour apart, police said Sunday.
A 15-year-old boy was slashed in the right arm by a teenager about 6:10 p.m. on Saturday in the 42nd St.-Port Authority station a block away from Times Square, cops said.
Medics took the boy to Bellevue Hospital in stable condition.
Cops say the teen suspect wore a brown jacket.
Less than a mile away, a 38-year-old man was slashed with an unknown sharp object after arguing with his attacker aboard a downtown No. 6 train heading into the Grand Central-42nd St. station about 5 p.m., cops said.
He was taken to the same hospital and was also in stable condition.
The assailant, sporting all gray clothes and a green beanie, fled in an unknown direction.
Both attackers are still being sought.
