A night of three friends hanging out together inside a Bronx apartment abruptly turned into a bloodbath as two men were stabbed, one fatally, the surviving victim told the Daily News.

Nurdeen Doizer, 39, Tyquan McBride, 33, and Joel Algarin, 48, were hanging out, smoking synthetic marijuana and drinking inside a third-floor apartment on E. 162nd St. near Courtandt Ave. in Melrose on Nov. 8 around 11:25 p.m. when McBride suddenly lashed out, stabbing Algarin in the neck and slicing Doizer multiple times on the arm.

“We were smoking K2 and drinking. We were in Tyquan’s apartment,” Doizer, who had his right arm wrapped up and stitches on his face, said as he spoke to the Daily News from his apartment in the same building.

“(Tyquan) was cooking food. He started stabbing us with the cutting knife. He didn’t say anything — he just bugged out.”

“I was cut and Joel was on the floor, and Tyquan started running away,” Doizer recounted. “Tyquan always drank too much.”

Algarin died at the scene. EMS transported Doizer to Lincoln Hospital where he was in stable condition.

Police caught up with McBride and took him into custody at the scene. He was charged the next day with murder, manslaughter, attempted murder and weapons possession, cops said.

Doizer said Algarin, who lived on the building’s seventh floor, would frequently cut his and McBride’s hair.

“Joel was a very good guy,” he said. “He used to cut our hair, he was like our personal barber.”

A makeshift memorial consisting of unlit candles was set up for Algarin, who went by the nickname Joey, after his death.

“He was from the shelter but he was a cool guy,” a neighbor who lived in the building said of the victim. “He would come to me when he was collecting bottles, so I’d help him out.”

The neighbor said it was “only a matter of time” until something like this erupted between the trio, saying they would frequently drink and start fighting with each other.

In addition to drinking, the effects of K2, also known as “spice,” can be unpredictable, sometimes causing psychosis and violent behavior.

“One of them was stabbed in the neck, the other was stabbed in the arm, there was blood in the stairwell and detectives,” the neighbor said. “It was a crime scene.”

McBride was arraigned from the hospital Thursday in Bronx Criminal Court and ordered held without bail.

He’s due back in court Dec. 15.
