A 24-year-old man was shot to death during an argument with his killer outside a Queens bodega, police said Wednesday.
Victim Lawrence Turner got into the quarrel outside MB Convenience Deli & Grill on Beach 14th St. near New Haven Ave. in Far Rockaway about 6:40 p.m. Tuesday, cops said.
As the clash escalated, Turner’s adversary pulled out a gun and opened fire, striking the victim in the back and arm.
Turner traveled to St. John’s Episcopal Hospital by private means, where he later died.
The gunman ran off and has not been caught. He is described as Hispanic and was wearing a black bubble jacket, gray jeans and black-and-white Jordans sneakers.
Turner lived in the Brownsville section of Brooklyn, cops said.
The victim was the fourth person murdered in Far Rockaway this year — the same amount as were killed in 2024.
As of Sunday, police had investigated 11 shootings in the 101st Precinct, which covers Far Rockaway, five fewer than this time last year.
