Summary
InZoi Studio is considering bringing InZoi to the Nintendo Switch 2, pending feasibility.
The graphically demanding nature of InZoi may pose challenges for a Switch 2 release.
InZoi is currently available on PC via Steam early access, but will be coming to PS5 and Xbox Series X/S in the future.
InZoi game director Hyungjun Kim has said that InZoi Studio is actively looking at bringing the popular new life simulation title to the Nintendo Switch 2. While the Nintendo Switch 2 doesn’t launch until June 5, numerous third-party games have been confirmed for the console, and while InZoi could be next, fans shouldn’t get their hopes up just yet.
After years of EA’s The Sims dominating the life simulation genre, InZoi burst onto the scene in March and received largely positive reviews from both players and critics. With the title still being in early access, there are plenty of features and content still to be added to the game. The good news, however, is that developer InZoi Studio remains committed to releasing regular updates with gameplay improvements, bug fixes, and new content. InZoi has already received multiple updates in its first few weeks, many of which have implemented features and improvements solely based on player feedback.

InZoi May Come to the Nintendo Switch 2
InZoi Studio has already confirmed that it intends to release InZoi on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S, but with the recent reveal of the Nintendo Switch 2, many fans are wondering if they’ll be able to take their Zois on the go with them. In a recent interview with VideoGamer, game director Hyungjun Kim said, “We are preparing to bring InZoi to various platforms, and if optimization for the Switch 2 is feasible based on its performance, we see it as a great opportunity to connect with even more players.”
Unfortunately, InZoi is a graphically demanding game, which may affect its release on a console like the Nintendo Switch 2. Kim said that it is “hard to say for sure” if InZoi will come to the Nintendo Switch 2, as “we don’t yet know the exact hardware specs.” The director then noted that rumors suggest the console will feature RTX 2050-level performance, which is just below InZoi’s recommended specs. As such, Kim says it “would likely be difficult to run the game on the Switch 2 as-is.”
So, while it remains up in the air on whether or not InZoi will be able to run on the Nintendo Switch 2, there are some other graphically intense games coming to the console. One of the most surprising reveals during the recent Direct showcase was that Cyberpunk 2077 would be released for the Switch 2 as a launch title. Developer CD Projekt Red will utilize Nvidia’s DLSS upscaling technology to enhance the game’s performance on the Switch 2, allowing users to choose between a 30 FPS Quality Mode and a 40 FPS Performance Mode.
