Rocket League is Crossing Over With Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles

The hit arcade-style car soccer game Rocket League has revealed a brand-new crossover with Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, bringing the beloved “heroes in a half-shell” into the realm of vehicular mayhem and sports competition. Rocket League has featured a number of crossovers with various pop culture franchises over the years, and fans of the high-octane title will soon be able to enjoy exclusive TMNT content with a limited-time event.

Since it first launched in 2015, Rocket League has evolved to be one of the most popular esports games, with its appeal to fans of both traditional sports and racing titles. The game has launched multiple updates to introduce new arenas, vehicles, game modes, and more, and the newest addition will see Raphael, Donatello, Leonardo, and Michelangelo joining the fray in Rocket League.

Rocket League shared a colorful trailer for the new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles limited-time event that will be coming to the game at 5 PM PT on April 22. The Rocket League and TMNT collaboration will feature a unique game mode called Pizza Party, where players will need to score goals with a giant pizza, though their jumps will be removed and replaced with grappling hooks. Players will also be able to customize their vehicles with new skins, toppers, banners, wheels, and more, including special items themed to each of the turtles. The iconic ooze that transformed the young reptiles into the heroic Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles will also be appearing in Rocket League in the form of a Challenge Rewards Ooze Boost and limited Ooze Canisters, which contain items from the Accelerator, Triumph, and Zephyr Series.

Rocket League x Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Limited Event

Included in the many additions coming to the Rocket League x Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles crossover event is the Turtle Van, better known as the Party Wagon among TMNT fans. The turtles’ classic ride will be available in a bundle that also features the Turtle Van Car Body, the Pizza Box Decal, the Vandalized Decal, and more for 2500 Credits. Players will be able to earn 11 Challenge Rewards until the event ends at 5 PM PT on May 1, giving interested audiences a limited time to check out the TMNT content while enjoying other additions from the latest Rocket League updates.
