As one of the most famous fixers in Cyberpunk 2077’s Night City, it’s no surprise that people trying to make it to the major leagues in the Afterlife attempt to woo Rogue Amendiares. However, Rogue isn’t just going to give anyone the time of day, which is why V’s so lucky to have Johnny Silverhand in their head, slowly eating away at their brain and providing them with an opportunity to right some wrongs.

This comprehensive guide will take players through every step they need to take in order to romance Judy Alvarez in Cyberpunk 2077.
Rogue can be romanced in Cyberpunk 2077, but it’s a tad different from other romantic partners, and players aren’t going to end up riding into the sunset with their favorite fixer. If players want to know what missions and dialogue choices to select to kiss Rogue, then this Cyberpunk 2077 guide will help them all the way.
It’s worth noting that Male V and Female V can both romance Rogue, and the flashback scenes where players are Johnny Silverhand, have no impact on Rogue’s romance quest.
How to Romance Rogue in Cyberpunk 2077
To begin the process of romancing Rogue in Cyberpunk 2077, players must complete Act Two of the game with the main quest, Search and Destroy. This mission will end up with Johnny and V held up in a hotel, where players will want to follow through with these dialogue options when talking to Johnny:
[Stand] Almost got flatlined.
[Step away] Why bring me here?
[Stand] Thanks for helping.
I’ll, uh, get you back someday.
[Stand] Think I’m gonna die soon.
Why you givin’ them to me?
Yes.
I’d do the same for you.
Got a better idea?
[Stand] Understood.
So I tell Rogue everything?
Tell me what you’re planning.
OK. I’ll give you control.
Selecting these dialogue options will not only further V’s bond with Johnny, but it will also provide them with the secret side quest, Chippin’ In, which is essential in speaking with Rogue and beginning the journey to romance her. Once V has regained control, it’s time to head to the Afterlife and begin the A Cool Metal Fire quest. This quest involves giving Johnny control of V’s body, and enjoying a wild night of drugs and alcohol, but no decisions in this quest matter. Players will wake up in a motel room with Rogue present, thus beginning the Chippin’ In quest.

Players can find details on the choices and dialogue options that they must make if they want to romance Panam Palmer in Cyberpunk 2077.
Complete Chippin’ In
Now that Rogue knows that Johnny is inside V’s head thanks to that wild night in A Cool Metal Fire, it’s time to start the Chippin’ In quest. Players will first need to wait 24 in-game hours, but if Rogue still has not called, then head to Tangos Tors Motel in the south area of the map and AFK here in the meantime. Once Rogue calls, meet her at the Afterlife. Not only does Rogue give V a replica of Johnny’s Samurai Jacket, but the quest itself is the only way players can get Johnny’s Porsche 911 Turbo (930) and Johnny’s Malorian Arms 3516 pistol. After infiltrating the shipping yard, Rogue leaves, and it’s just Johnny and V again. V will need to agree with Johnny to go to the Oil Fields, where they will then need to select the following dialogue options to increase their bond with Johnny and unlock the next step in romancing Rogue:
[Sit] D’ya expect a headstone?
[Inscribe Johnny’s initials] Let’s do something about that.
“The Guy Who Saved My Life.”
Nah, f####ed that up too.
What do you want from me?
OK. But as second chances go, this is your last.
You were a real d### in the beginning.
When you said you let down your friends…
Smasher biz really got to her.
Yeah, I’ll call Rogue.
Complete Blistering Love
By agreeing to give Johnny a second chance, the Blistering Love mission will unlock, which will truly begin once players go through their contacts and call Rogue Amendiares to ask her out on a date. Rogue makes it clear that she wants Johnny to take her to Silver Pixel Cloud in North Oak, so V now needs to head to the Afterlife to pick Rogue up. If players got Johnny’s Porsche 911 Turbo (930) in Chippin’ In, then it’s a good idea to pick Rogue up in this car for some secret, but non-essential dialogue. With Rogue now picked up, it’s time to take her to the drive-in movie theater in North Oak, but once players arrive, they will find that it’s locked up tight.
V can enter the drive-in theater by opening the front door and accessing the terminal to discover the password is 0000. Once accessed, players will then need to head to the projection booth to activate the projector, and then give Johnny control over V’s body by looking at Johnny and selecting the dialogue option: [Take Pills] You kids have fun now. With Johnny now in control, sit with Rogue in an abandoned car, and when provided with dialogue options, select the following:
How’d you imagine this date going?
I like the Rogue of 2077.
Do anything not to lose you.
Only thing that matters is I came back to you.
[Kiss] More than I expected.
This begins an erotic scene with Rogue, but the romance is quick to end with Rogue telling Johnny that she can’t go through with it. Rogue leaves, leaving it to just be Johnny and V at the movie theater. While this might be a failed attempt at romance, it’s not the end of Rogue’s story, and they can receive a conclusion for Rogue and her love for Johnny in the game’s final mission: Nocturne Op55N1.
How to Get Rogue’s Ending in Cyberpunk 2077
Now that players have completed Rogue’s quests in Cyberpunk 2077, it’s time to progress through the game as normal until players reach the final mission: Nocturne Op55N1, where they are tasked with speaking to Hanako Arasaka at Embers. Going through with this mission sees Johnny and V share a moment on a rooftop, where players will want to select the options:
Think you and Rogue should go.
[Take pseudoendotrizine] I am. Do your thing, Johnny.
This begins a variant of the final mission, For Whom The Bell Tolls, where players will raid Arasaka Tower with Rogue as Johnny in V’s body, locking them into the Temperance ending. Johnny and Rogue will share a kiss, along with some unseen intimacy, before they head out to take on Arasaka Tower like they did back in 2023, 54 years earlier. This mission is unique to Rogue’s ending path, and can only be unlocked through romancing her.
Unlike other romance partners like Panam and Judy, it is not possible to go on dates with Rogue outside of the Blistering Love side quest.
