How to Get the Seven Power Gloves in Fortnite Showdown
The Seven Power Gloves are the second new item added into Fortnite Showdown in Act I following the community reaching the required number of Rivalry Wins for Team Foundation. The default Seven Power Gloves are an item of Epic rarity that can be found as both ground loot and within chests.
Since it is an Epic item, you also have an increased chance of finding them in Rare Chests. However, the Seven Power Gloves are also available to purchase at certain Rivarly Vending Machines for 50 Rivalry Credits.
Once you have the Seven Gloves, you can make use of one of two abilities, each of which will consume one of 20 uses. The item also has four charges at a time that are replenished every 11 seconds. Here is a breakdown of the two abilities you can perform with the Seven Power Gloves:
Directional Dash (Primary Fire): Lunge in the direction you are moving in. Deals 50 damage to players hit on impact.
Uppercut Dash (Alt Fire): Launch up into the air. Opponents hit with the attack will take 70 damage and be knocked into the air.
The Seven Power Gloves are an effective mobility item. Be sure to use them to push players who are low or rapidly to disengage from fights that go south and reposition.
How to Get the Mythic Seven Power Gloves in Fortnite Showdown
As of the time of writing, the Mythic variant of the Seven Power Gloves is not available yet and will likely debut sometime during Act II of Fortnite Showdown.
While not much is known about the Mythic variant, according to credible content creator FNAssist, the item will be dropped from Mythic Rifts that spawn over at Frigid Fortress and the New Sanctuary. The item will function the same as the standard Seven Power Gloves, only this time boasting 40 uses instead of 20.
