A 23-year-old man was stabbed to death and beaten with a baseball bat on the street near Times Square early Monday, police said.
Daevon Silva was attacked by three men near W. 49th St. and Seventh Ave. in Midtown about 1:05 a.m., cops said.
He was stabbed once in the back and once in the right thigh, cops said.
One of the attackers, a man wearing a black mask and purple sweatsuit, beat Silva with a baseball bat, police said.

Medics rushed Silva to Bellevue Hospital, where he died. He lives in Pawtucket, R.I., according to police.
The suspects were last seen fleeing downtown on Seventh Ave. before splitting up, cops said.

The same intersection in Midtown was the scene of a stabbing early Friday morning during a road rage clash that left a 38-year-old man wounded.
That victim came up to a 40-year-old man behind the wheel of a white Jeep incessantly honking at a 25-year-old driver in front of him, witnesses told police. The drivers had leaped from their vehicles to confront each other when the victim began filming the dispute, cops said.
The spectator’s curiosity drew the ire of the older motorist, who jabbed him in the back with an unknown weapon before leaping back into his Jeep and fleeing west on W. 49th St., said police.
The victim suffered a small puncture wound and refused medical attention at the scene, cops said.
No arrests have been made in that case.

A little over two hours after Monday morning’s slaying, an 80-year-old man was found stabbed to death in his apartment in Washington Heights.
Police took a man in for questioning after the elderly victim was found dead from stab wounds to his neck and abdomen inside his home on Overlook Terrace near W. 184th St. in Hudson Heights at about 3:15 a.m., cops said.
