A 70-year-old man died after he was struck by a truck backing out of a Queens driveway Monday, police said.
The victim was crossing a parking lot near 87th Ave. in Queens Village around 9:30 a.m. when he was hit by a Ford F550 attempting to exit the private driveway onto Hillside Ave., authorities said.
Medics rushed the victim to North Shore University Hospital, where he died. His name was not immediately released as cops track down relatives.

The 43-year-old driver was taken to Long Island Jewish Medical Center with minor injuries, according to police.
Cops are investigating the incident. No arrests have been made.
The business name “Preferred Exterior” was written on the side of the truck that struck the vicitm. The company provides roofing and siding services in Nassau County, Queens and the Tri-State area, according to its website.
The owners of Preferred Exterior were unavailable for comment when reached Monday.
