NetEase Games has announced that it will be releasing a new game mode for Marvel Rivals called Giant-Size Brain Blast, which will be available on April 25. Marvel Rivals recently released Season 2 of the popular hero shooter and introduced the Vanguard Emma Frost to the title’s ever-expanding roster. The villain Ultron is also scheduled to make his debut with the major 2.5 update.
NetEase Games recently courted controversy when it added costume customization to Marvel Rivals. While the idea was initially well-received by fans, the community was quickly disheartened by the fact that it would cost money and add a fourth currency to the game. Instead of being able to buy these new customization options with Units, players need to spend 600 Unstable Molecules. As of writing, the only way to attain Unstable Molecules is to trade it for Lattice, the game’s premium currency. This makes each customization option right around $6.

Once the footage moves into gameplay, the audience can see that all of Marvel Rivals’ heroes are sporting the same aesthetic as they face off against one another on the battlefield. On April 24 at 7 PM PDT, players will have the opportunity to purchase new skins for the heroes Loki and Hela in Marvel Rivals.
