One Piece fans have lots to look forward to in the next few months and, quite frankly, in the next few years. As the original manga builds up to the climax and prepares everyone for a massive, thrilling war, fans in the US will also be able to enjoy the series in a whole new way.
For a long time, the best immersive experiences and celebrations for Japanese franchises remained restricted to local events in Japan. But, at least for One Piece, these times are now over, as Toei is bringing a brand-new experience to fans in North America.

Nerona Imu has unleashed his real form in the Elbaph arc, and Eiichiro Oda will unleash its full powers after a two-week break in Chapter 1180.
One Piece Fest Coming to LA in 2026
According to the official website, the first-ever North American One Piece Fest will take place at Cosm Los Angeles on August 25–26, 2026 (Tuesday and Wednesday). While the event is still a few months away, fans can try to snag the chance to buy advanced tickets by joining the Ticket Lottery until May 14 (11:59 pm ET). The lucky, selected fans will be notified via email on May 21 with further details, and only 7,000 fans will be able to join the event.
Toei will likely announce more details regarding everything fans will be able to enjoy in this celebration, but the company has already stated that there will be exclusive merchandise, special panels, live performances, activations, and, perhaps most interestingly, an exclusive, immersive Elbaph experience.
Besides Elbaph, the official website also lists thematic areas for other locations, such as East Blue, Alabasta, Impel Down, Amazon Lily, Egghead… every major island from every major arc of the series seems to be part of the show.

Given the scope, perhaps there will also be some special announcements during the event. Therefore, it would not be surprising if a new trailer for The One Piece (the anime remake) is revealed during the special celebration, or even a sneak peek at the second cour of the Elbaph arc. Similar events often happen in Japan, but this is the first time Toei is bringing something like that to the US.
One Piece Anime Already Covering the Elbaph Arc
The following section contains spoilers for One Piece’s Elbaph arc.
Since One Piece returned in April, the anime has started adapting the Elbaph arc, which seems to be wrapping up in the manga. This arc introduces many characters that solve a few mysteries while raising others, like Shamrock, Shanks’ brother, and Imu, who, despite having been introduced in earlier arcs, is now getting more development.
As for the manga, things are getting more thrilling than ever, with Eiichiro Oda clearly setting everything up for the upcoming Final War. Since Imu descended upon Elbaph, new powers were introduced, like Omen (or Maki), which appears to be almost the opposite of Haki. For now, Imu is clearly no match for the Straw Hats, but he will likely either withdraw or force Luffy to retreat.
When power so lusted after is too easily gained — Corruption! Choosing servitude out of self-interest — Covenants! And the envy that seeks to achieve one’s goals — the power of Omen! These form the trinity of what we call Domination!
— Nerona Imu in One Piece Chapter 1811
The Elbaph arc is defining alliances and showcasing powers; while it could be immediately followed by the war, it’s still possible that we will get another arc before this long-awaited event, which is bound to make even the Summit War seem like child’s play while redefining the future and political organization of the world in One Piece.
One Piece is available to stream on Crunchyroll and Netflix.
