Taylor Swift’s highly anticipated wedding to Travis Kelce is drawing near. By most accounts it’s going down over Independence Day weekend in Manhattan.
TMZ reported on Monday that guests invited to see the pop star and the Pro Bowl tight end will be treated to grub from Swift’s favorite New York City eateries. It’s not clear which restaurants will provide food for the event, though “every menu item” reportedly has to be approved by the 36-year-old bride-to-be.
A flurry of activity taking place outside Madison Square Garden reportedly included lighting equipment being delivered on Monday. TMZ believes the big day will be Friday.
As many as 1,200 guests are expected to attend Swift’s marriage to the 36-year-old Kansas City Chiefs star she’s been dating since around July 2023. Each invite reportedly includes a unque watermark so the famous couple will know if anyone leaks information about their nuptials on social media.

There’s been much speculation about what Swift will wear. The Hollywood reporter’s insiders say she’ll march down the aisle sporting a custom couture gown by Christian Dior designer Jonathan Anderson.
His first wedding dress was made for Chinese model Ming Xi when she married businessman Mario Ho on June 1.
The New York Times reported last week that an events planner applied for permits to shut down traffic around the Garden from Thursday through Saturday,
The Knicks, who celebrated winning the NBA Championship with a June 18 parade outside City Hall, won’t be needing the building.
Mayor Mamdani indicated earlier this month that the World Cup isn’t the only big event New York City is hosting in the coming days.
“We know it coincides with July Fourth, America 250, Taylor Swift’s wedding all happening at the same time, and we are so excited to welcome the world here,” he said.
