Where To Find All Ochkanatlan Hidden Chests In Genshin Impact

Ochkanatlan in Genshin Impact was once a thriving society of dragons before a calamity wiped them out. They lived in strained coexistence with the people of Natlan and were known for their technology that far preceded Teyvat’s time. The area is now unfortunately a graveyard of broken monuments and lost hopes.

However, Genshin Impact players may be delighted to uncover the many rewards available to them here through exploration. The area is quite massive, but the hidden chests in Ochkanatlan are pretty easy to find. There aren’t many scattered around, but some of them may need some puzzle solving to obtain.

Ochkanatlan Hidden Chest #1

This first hidden chest in Ochkanatlan is located near the Statue of Seven in the area. You need to actually teleport to the waypoint west of it and glide left on the map to one of the broken islands. Here, you’ll find a frozen Tenebrous Mimesis that is mimicking a Saurian warrior, and you’ll need to touch the warrior four times in different locations to unfreeze her.

West > East > North > South

Once she’s released, simply defeat her, and you’ll get an exquisite chest.

Ochkanatlan Hidden Chest #2

This Ochkanatlan hidden chest can be found near the teleport waypoint at Ashflow Street. Once you teleport there, turn around and head straight towards the river. Upon arriving at the river, turn right and jump all the way down to the bottom of the waterfall. You’ll spot a Phlogiston wind tunnel here, and if you pass it, a Tenebrous Mimesis mimicking a Hilichurl Rogue will spawn. Defeat it to get an exquisite chest.

Ochkanatlan Hidden Chest #3

For this chest, teleport to the waypoint directly below the Legendary Tonatiuh icon on the map and fly northeast. Keep flying all the way until you reach the edge of the island, and you’ll see these broken bridges. You’ll need to look out for this small pillar of light when you reach the bridge and investigate it to release some enemies. Defeating these enemies will reward you with an exquisite chest.

Ochkanatlan Hidden Chest #4

To reach this chest, you’ll need to use the teleport waypoint that is located left of the Legendary Tonatiuh icon on the map. Once there, turn left to find some stairs that will take you to the other end of the bridge. You’ll find a Tenebrous Mimesis mimicking a Saurian warrior here, and all you have to do is defeat it to receive a remarkable chest.

Ochkanatlan Hidden Chest #5

You can use the same teleport waypoint you used to get the previous chest, but this time, you need to turn around and jump off the bridge. You need to glide down and keep an eye out for another frozen Tenebrous Mimesis mimicking a Saurian warrior.

The enemy will be near a broken tower, and all you have to do is touch it three times. You need to do this three times for the ground to break beneath him. When he disappears, just turn around, and he should be a couple of steps behind you. Finally, you and the enemy will fall into a room, and you’ll need to defeat it to get the exquisite chest at the end.

Teleport to the waypoint at the leftmost part of Ochkanatlan and turn around. Upon doing so, you will find multiple baby Tepetlisaurus trapped under a large skeleton. There will be a Tenebrous Mimesis mimicking an adult Tepetlisaurus as well, and you need to defeat it to rescue the babies. Once done, you’ll get an exquisite chest and hidden achievement.

Carrying on from the previous hidden chest, this one can be found inside the cave that you just unlocked. Keep heading further in and drop into the hole you see. This underground area will be full of lava. Transform into a Tepetlisaurus and then head to the glowing spot you see near the lava. Simply attack the area, and a common chest will appear.

Ochkanatlan Hidden Chest #8

Now, teleport to the waypoint south of the one you previously used and turn around to find these mechanical platforms near a bunch of Saurians.

The first one will be near the shore, and two Yumkasaurs will be playing on it. You’ll be able to identify the correct one by the downward arrow on top of it. Just step onto the platform and press ‘awaken.’ Upon doing so, a short cutscene will play.

For the second one, turn around and head towards the small rock formation. The platform will be blocked by a mechanic, and you’ll have to expertly time it to pull it out. You can use the nearby Yumkasaur or Kinich for this, as you need to use their skills to pull the lever at the right time. Once enough space has been created, quickly press ‘awaken,’ and the platform will float over.

The third one is located directly opposite you and will be stuck under a rock. You can use the nearby Flamegranate to break it.

The final platform is located behind a caged door. Just head up the hill in front of the ocean and press the gate key. A Tenebrous Mimesis will then spawn, and defeating it will open the door. However, once you enter, there may be more of them inside, so remember to watch out. The platform will be resting against the wall. Just press awaken, and let it take you to the big mechanism.

Now that the puzzle is complete, the underwater mechanism will unlock, and a Precious Chest will rise to the surface.

Ochkanatlan Hidden Chest #9

For this chest, teleport to the waypoint left of the Legendary Tonatiuh icon and head up the stairs to your left. Jump off and glide northeast to find a platform floating near the rock formation below you. Step on it and press ‘start’ for it to move. It will take you to a room, but the mechanism will get locked inside, and your character will be pushed out. All you need to do here is attack the gate twice, and it will open.

There will be some Tenebrous Mimesis inside that you need to defeat first. Then, press the start button on the mechanism again, and an exquisite chest will appear.

Ochkanatlan Hidden Chest #10

This hidden chest can be found right below the teleport waypoint that is south of the Legendary Tonatiuh icon. Once you’re there, turn around, jump off, and head towards a bridge below you. You’ll spot a Tenebrous Mimesis disguised as a Saurian warrior here, and all you need to do is interact with it and defeat it to get a common chest.
